Carnation Instant Nonfat Dry Milk, 22.75 Ounce

I buy a fair amount of regular milk, but always keep this in stock and use it as a great alternative between trips to the market. If you’ve never tried it before, there may be a bit of an adjustment at first, but I’ve grown to appreciate the flavor and use it successfully in a glass, in baking, in soups, smoothies, puddings, anywhere I’d use milk. My young grandson tasted it on a recent visit and was not a fan of drinking it straight-up. I’m having a glass right now. I usually make half a package at a time, mix it with water and, if I need it sooner, will throw in a few ice cubes, shake. and refrigerate. Do try to avoid the cubes in your cereal. I store the mixture in a tall thin locknlock in the fridge. It holds up well for about 3 days. Follow the instructions for proportions, but you can vary a bit on the thin or thicker side. It’s one of those items that’s a regular in my larder. I always wanted to use that word, sort of comforting , in a “Little House on the Prairie” sort of way.

I make loaf bread 2 or 3 times a week. Powdered milk improves many baked goods. This is my preferred brand and this 22.75 oz can is much cheaper by volume than the over-priced little bag I had been buying almost monthly at the grocery store.

This product is delicious and is useful in a variety of Hot beverages. Furthermore it is non perishable and that is important to me as I travel alot. Enjoy

The price could have been slightly lower. The product works well as a milk substitite.

Let's face it. Powdered milk will never replace regular milk, but in an emergency or when you simply run out of milk and don't feel like running to the store, these do nicely. I have had this brand of powdered milk before, and I found its taste to be acceptable and certainly not objectionable.

Make sure to read the direction because my mixture taste funny when I try to make milk...taste like powder milk instead of milk lol......but hey I needed milk for my cereal will I buy again nope I came up with the idea of freezing my 2% percent milk if I finish my cereal box .....I buy another cereal box and let the milk defrost in the fridge...in the past I would dump the remainder of milk....why dump it when you can freeze it......

I only use milk for coffee, cereal and smoothies, and not that often. This is great as can just add a teaspoon or two or three. I always wound up forgetting to buy milk or having it spoil on me. Frankly, this is a way better and healthier alternative to Coffee-mate.

Hi I paid for the milk and I love it. I use it for drinking all the time grew up on the stuff. There is a problem you guys never sent the milk to me and I paid for it so please if someone can send it I would love to use it.
