Revell 03279 Panzerhaubitze 2000 1:35 Scale Unbuilt/Unpainted Plastic Model Kit, Green

I have had Revell models before and always have been good. Haven't built this yet but , again I don,t think I will be disappointed.My curious son counted the parts which only came to 214 ( on Plastic Parts Frames A (44)B (85) C (48)D (32) + Part 1 (1), Part 64 (1) Part 15 (1) part 14 (2) = 214 parts + decals 27 ( if counted as parts ) so I make it 241 parts.Not sure where the 316 parts comes from as by checking the construction booklet I have all the parts but only say 241 not 316. A bit confusing.Revell have subsequently confirmed that there is a printing error on the box relating to the number of parts. It is NOT 316 and they will correct the packaging.

Could use some aftermarket resin/brass parts but even without them model looks quite detailed. Definitely need a bit of assembly planning before painting, as I personally would add some bits later than instructions suggests.

Basic kit of this huge vehicle. If you are new to the hobby and want a straight forward build then it’s fine. But compared to the MENG version there is no comparison.. clearly the meng kit requires more effort but is a better detailed kit

Having decided to purchase this for a change from usual maker's, I was disappointed about the amount of flash and mould lines on every piece of the kit. Once every piece had been cleaned the fit was not too bad but the overall feel of the plastic is not as others, and the scale of the model seems odd with some parts. Makes an okay kit, but wish i had stuck with other makers.

Good kit with not too many parts, plastic mould flashing is pretty bad but the kit fits fairly well once cleaned up (some filler required)
