No. This rocket runs on mini engines like A10-3T. Regular A, B, C type engines are too large in diameter to fit.

That's a subjective question but for me, this rocket is on the small size. I have one and I have had multiple parachutes burned since it's so small. Bigger rockets are more impressive and I think they are easier to fly and find. For the larger size, make sure the diameter is larger, not just the height. The larger the diameter the easier it is to load the recovery wadding and parachute and have them deploy properly.

Q: Which launch pad do I use?

The Estes - 2222 Launch Pad and Porta-Pad Controller II, Red is what I use. There is a Estes Mini Engine Launch System that should work, but I haven't tried it. I would personally go for the first option as it gives you the ability to launch more types of rockets, but if the mini engine one fits your needs it should work fine.

Q: What can I do to make sure Biden doesn't shoot it down?

There are model rockets that go so high that you need to get FAA clearance to fly them. This isn't one of them. It's a low power rocket that doesn't go high enough to cause problems. However, if you put it in a high altitude balloon over the US, it's probably going to get shot down.

Great little rockets

We built these for our church, 10 yr old boys, activities group. They were easy to put together and all worked great. The boys and their parents, were surprised, with how high they went. Great price and great rockets.

I like this rocket but unfortunately I got damaged product.One of the stabilization wing is broke.

Very nice starter rocket

If you want an Estes rocket that is easy to build so you can fly it fast this is a good choice. I've launched it a few times and it flies very well. If you get it, note that it uses Estes mini (13mm) engines that all end with the letter T, A3-4T for example.

NO NOSE CONE // MISSING PARTS

I made these rockets as a kid and bought one to make and put in a special time capsule for my Dad's birthday. Just opened the packet and there is NO NOSE CONE!
