I bought this lamp mostly because it should be protecting against mosquitos.Last week I went camping and the lamp part works well... it has 2 brightness levels and the battery life is good (I used it for 2 hours with a high level of brightness and then overnight and part of the morning with purple light against mosquitos).What I am not happy with is its purple light against mosquitos...As I said, I left it on the whole night and in the morning when I woke up, I had a couple of mosquito bites and I could see 2 mosquitos just sitting on the side of the tent (just 20-30 cm from the lamp)... So its definitely not effective.This was in April in the UK, imagine what would be in the summer or somewhere else where it would be much more mosquitos...Don't waste your time on this product. There are better lamps on the market if you are looking for a lamp, and definitely there are better ways to fight against mosquito as this one is ineffective...

Lovely little light idea for camping, the light I find bright enough And the fly catcher is ok ,the battery last quite a while , it takes battery 18650 rechargeable so you can put a bigger amh if you want it to last a bit longer without charging,

Can't comment on water resistance because we haven't got it wet. I had to bend the battery contact to get it to work but now its used regularly and very bright usable light, the bug zapper has caught a few insects and the battery lasts a good amount of time. Feels cheap and plasticky but it was cheap to buy so can't complain about that.

Used this for a 2 month camping trip through Africa. It has charged well the whole time and works well to kill mosquitos and flies. The lamp lights up the tent so you can see well and lasts almost 2 nights before needing to be charged againGreat purchase

Great little light. As dor the fly zappy part, it does work but the flys tend to purch on the out side and not fky into the light but when and if they do, it does zap them.

Tested this whilst fishing, for starters it was great to have the added light to help see more, very bright!The main feature to kill the flys is excellent though!Seems more than powerful enough to kill them instantly! They definitly get attracted to the blue light.Cant wait to take abroad with me and get them mosqitos!

I have seen a big difference in the amount of flies in my house since I bought these I will definitely be buying some again
