Excellent work light; great for close-quarter work or emergencies, like blackouts
Milwaukee 2735-20 M18 LED Work LightExcellent work light. I love how light it is, even with a battery attached. Even though it’s not a power tool per se, it’s still built with the quality and craftsmanship one expects from a top brand like Milwaukee. It does NOT feel or look cheap at all. The plastic and rubber it’s mainly constructed of are very robust and durable. The grip feels very comfortable and “grippy” in the hand, and the 90-degree rotating head, as well as the integrated hook, are well-designed features that come in quite handy and are most useful. The light itself isn’t the brightest at 100 lumens, but I still think it’s plenty bright for close-quarter work—which is what I’ll mainly be using it for. In addition, the relatively lower lumens affords the work light incredibly long run times on a single battery. Finally, for a Milwaukee product, it’s a truly great value. I highly recommend it, and I wouldn’t mind having one or two more for emergency purposes, like during blackouts.

Just right flashlight.
Surprisingly useful flashlight. Big round beam with no hotspot in the middle, so light is even all around. I thought the lumens might be too little, but it works great inside and outside the house. Would buy again.

Works good, feels a little cheap. Could be brighter though.

Great flashlight.
Best flashlight I have ever owned (I lived off-grid for ten years, so I have used a lot of flashlights.) Apparently indestructible, and with that big fat battery hanging there, they run for a really long time. They are alittle pricey, but this is one of those situations where you really do get what you pay for.

A Solid, Basic light
The light certainly works fine, but I did not do any real research ahead of time so I was surprised by it's limitations. My usual flashlight is a Duracell that takes four AAA batteries. Advantages over the Duracell include that this light will sit and allow pointing the beam anywhere from level to straight up, freeing up both hands. It has a built-in hook, allowing it to be hung. And of course the life of even the smallest M18 battery is far, far beyond what 4 AAA cells could provide. But I was surprised that the beam is actually not as bright as the Duracell, and is not adjustable at all, while the Duracell can be zoomed between quite narrow (and concentrated) and quite wide. I understand that the comparison is not entirely appropriate, but those are my thoughts.
