Good product
Easy to use does the job and I like the clear plastic though so I know what is in it.

Great budget nvme enclosure.
Working great.Routinely doing 280M/s while copying between my laptop and the external nvme drive.10Gbps is good enough for any gen 3+ SSDs.Got it while it was on sale, really good budget nvme enclosure, although with a few more $ you might be able to get one that can do both nvme and sata m.2 drives, this enclosure alone works fine for me.

Works good and for the low price it's a good buy.
Great portable HDD case works with windows 10 & Ubuntu 24 Linux just fine. No screws are needed as this case just locks in place with tabs. It's powered by the USB cable. It has no storage it's only a storage mounting device for your sata hard drives. The build quality seems ok, but it won't hold up to being dropped onto a hard surface it's a clear hard PVC plastic body. For the cost of this thing it was a good value for the money. Swapping out hard drives is a fairly easy process. If your looking for something to throw around & travel with or throw in a back pack this not a good choice you. Spend more money on a hardend metal enclosure with some sort of military grade drop proof testing. This is ideal for users who want to keep a storage medium in a drawer, closet, book shelf or next to your computer.

it slides open
Didn't know it slides open. I've been trying to pry it open thinking it was on a hinge for some reason. There are no instructions, but it's pretty much plug and play. Works. The cable works. Everything is 100%. Transfer speed feels like any other external hdd. LED's are bright af. I put a sticker on the back to block them.

Great for me!
Works as expected plus the clear cover means I don’t have to plug it in and wait for the computer to recognize it to know what it is. I have a lot of 2.5 ssd’s sitting on the shelf and if I need a 2tb I may plug in 3 or 4 to find one. Or be looking for a particular brand, etc. Since I’m totally disorganized this makes life a little bit easier and a lot less frustrating.

Very good performance and value.
I have several other cheap enclosures from other brands however this one actually is the best with only a 4% speed loss compared to haveing it installed internally. A lot of these under $15 enclosures have USB 3.1 or 3.0 interfaces, but cheap out by using SATA 2.0 controller chips. This one though does have a SATA3 controller ao you will get top speeds.I tested this enclosure using a Micron 2TB SSD plugged into the following: USB 3.2 port on my Taichi x570 Motherboard, the USB 3.0 ports on my case, and My Ryzen 3 3200U laptop (both plugged in & on battery.)I included a picture of the best results (Motherboard 3.2 port.) The USB 3.0 on my case and my laptop plugged in got a 450R & 400W, and the worst performance was on the laptop running on the battery at 320R & 280W.The Case itself is very sturdy. It's easy to get the SSD (or HDD) in, but it is a tad annoying to get it out (not a lot of room.) If you change drives often this could be a issue. This will only accommodate a 7mm HDD or SSD thicker drives will not fit properly. Also note that I would not recommend using mechanical hard drives (HDD) due to the this enclosure being so thin, and lacking any air vents heavy mechanical hard drive use will cause it to overheat resulting in drive failure after prolong use. I tested this doing a backup task and the drive went over 52C in 30minutes. So this enclosure is best for SSDs or very light HDD usage. This under $15 enclosure has given me the best read & Write speed so far and other than the lack of room to get the drives out is still worth the money.

Wanted it to work...
I was initially excited about this case. Clear case, multiple connection options, looked cool and a very low price. I have a Samsung EVO 840 SSD that I wanted to use in this. I have numberous other drive adapters and had this working and formatted with one of them. Drive was fine with the SATA connections in the PC I removed it from. Case arrvied and there are no instructions inside. This is normally not an issue, but since this case is all plastic with out screws I didn't want to crack it trying to force apart. Went online found a video someone posted and got the case open. Drive fit nice in the case with out any slop. Even though the drive was already formatted I got the format message upon connection. Wouldn't have been an issue, but nothing would format it. Not windows or MiniTool Partition. Tried different ports with same failures. The drive even shut down my PC when removing the USB connection. Will pickup another brand, which is a shame since the clear case concept was interesting. I think the low price in this case equals hit and miss electronics/controler.
