Office 2019 For Seniors For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))

I haven't really gotten into this book, but most of the figures and illustrations shown are so small you have to use a magnifying glass. I can't review the information, because I really haven't gotten into it yet, but this really isn't fashioned for seniors because of the small print.

As a senior citizen, I am not great at using MS Word and needed a few pointers. I found the Excel information to be very helpful as well. It's my go-to source when I need to make columns or use bullet points, etc. It also helped me make a very nice spreadsheet which I use in my volunteer work.

Nowhere on line did this say it was for Windows only. On the front and back cover of the book it does not say it is for Windows only. As soon as you open the book however you find under the heading of 'FOOLISH ASSUMPIONS' that the reader is expected to be using Windows 10. Thank you for nothing.

I ordered Office Home & student 2019 and needed to review the basics. This book has been just what I had hoped for. The instructions are clear and the font is large and easy to read. I would recommend this book for others.

This book is great for me, not being a computer tech, as it gives concise easy to understand instructions.By studying this book I am going to get a lot of in-depth understanding while using the programs.Thank you.

I bought this version of the Dummies series because the writeup specifically spoke of the easier-to-read fonts used for Seniors. The text is plenty legible, but the Figures and Graphs used to illustrate a concept are impossible to read even with a magnifying glass! I will keep this book and hope to find it more useful as I become more skilled in using Office 2019, but I sure wouldn't buy it again!

I needed information for aligning addresses on an envelope. All this book say basically “stick the envelope in. If print on wrong side , flip envelope “. Any intelligent person could figure that out.How does one return this piece of technical hilarity?

It is just what I was looking for. It would have been great if the print on the key items to read in the figures could have been in a larger font so one wouldn't wish for a magnifying glass to easily see!

This book is very clearly presented and strait forward to follow. It will help you understand Microsoft Office 2019. I would recommend this book.

Once opened was found to have damage to front and back cover poor quality

My partner seems a like this but like she said it'd be nice to be able to have a digital version come with it for the price.
