I love Barbara Brennan's first book Hands of Light, which I read waaaaay back when it first came out! Could not put it down and it was the one that got me started on spiritual path and exploring healing practices such as Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu, IET and all the other energy healing modalities. Now I am reading Light Emerging and as her first book is, it's so informative. This one is focusing on personal healing, healer and patient interaction, relationships and energy interaction and how to create positive patterns, and more. I would love to go to the Barbara Brennan School of Healing one day but in the meantime these books will carry me through to learning about healing and express myself in a more loving & nurturing way for myself and for others. This book & her first book are a must for anyone interested in exploring these types of therapy and discovering their own built-in ability to heal with energy. Enjoy!

Intensive and not for the casual reader, but well worth the journey to learn about human energy and all of our untapped potential. I read it more slowly than most books, because there was so much to absorb. It will stretch your mind and beliefs, in a good way.Brennan is a healer with very advanced abilities that she has developed over many years. I first heard about her in a book called the Holographic Universe where the author talked about how she could see into bodies (diseases, blockages/problems, future issues, past) and that later, medically, her findings would be confirmed independently by a mainstream doctor. She now teaches others to develop these abilities and become healers or heal themselves.Very worthwhile, highly recommended for those who want to go deep into the human energy fields.

The second volume of Barbara Brennan's energy work is focused on the energy exchanges between people. Fascinating color illustrations display the colors and shapes as seen by Barbara and others, that indicate emotions and intentions. Wonderful book. Highly recommend both.

This book has taught me so much about what I need to understand in order to facilitate my own healing. Barbara's writing is powerful, easily conveying years of spiritual truths gathered through her own experience as a healer. I am at the beginning of the journey but have already learned so much through her books.

I ordered this book to find some answers for some things I have been experiencing in my work, and in my life. It helps me know I'm not the only one who sees energy. I don't understand everything about the book, which is why I am going to a workshop by the author's school of healing later this year to learn more. The illustrations of this book are simply beautiful.

For those who are really into a study of the Human Energy Field, this is the book to have. For the rest of us, the book has too much information. That's a good thing if you're really into the subject.

I have read the first book "Hands Of Light" and totally loved it. Because I found it to so truthful I decided to read this follow up book and was not disappointed. This book expounds further on the first book and I use both books as a reference for self healing and spiritual development. There are many paths to self development of one's own spirituality, however, it is difficult to understand what changes are occurring and how to understand those changes. This book helps explaining and gives hands on knowledge. A must in anyone's library!

Essential knowledge for those interested in the Chakra system . BB has put a scientific mind to analyse this human phenomena . Last couple of chapters have interesting personal experiences with auras and death ..

Another incredible epic journey of numinous learning that captures, after HOL, a greater understanding of the Human Energy Consciousness System (HECS) expanding into the deeper dimensions of Core Essence and Haric Intentionality. Barbara also lays bare the three major types of field interactions: of harmonic entrainment, bioplasmic streamers and chakra cords released into the wild by her highly gifted sensory (x-ray) perception which makes for one exquisite reading!And as if life wasn’t complicated enough (!) she mentions five major types of cord: soul cords from a God connection (angels and guides); cords from past life experiences; genetic cords to parents; relational cords with parents and relational cords with other human beings. Therefore, invisible entanglements into each others’ energy fields are a norm of human experience that Brennan Healing Science brings out into the open with such a forensic level of energetic enquiry that to mark her out as an extraordinary visionary would be an understatement - such is the wealth of energetic phenomena she has been able to elicit for humanity.A primary psychotherapeutic window into these observations is borrowed from Bioenergetics (orig. Reich who trained with Freud): “we think the only possible way to stop the pain is to stop the energy flow that contains it by walling off our wounds to deeper experience as ‘frozen psychic time blocks’, i.e. conglomerates of energy-consciousness without the maturation process.” For example, someone with an Oedipal temperament, might negatively assume “if i love, i will be abandoned” which acts as an unconsciously held belief or an ‘image conclusion’. It might be easier to conclude from this statement that there is the same degree of validation for Bioenergetics as a theory (and hence Freud) as there is for her mapping of the HECS, since both are presented with the same inevitability of symbiotic fit. Following on from the matchless Hands of Light, which was primarily for Healers, this is the definitive book for anyone wanting to heal their life in any area. We are deeply fortunate to have Barbara Ann Brennan's wisdom and experience to learn from. (I wonder, did the Beach Boys call their song after her?). Only joking.

Great book that has lots of depth and knowledge. This offers the reader a clear insight into the world of healing. It's a good way of gaining momentum to grasp concepts and understanding. Well illustrated with great diagrams where necessary.Would highly recommend this Author to anyone wishing to acquire knowledge of Chakras, their functions, energy and much more...

Another book in Barbra Ann Brennan's book series on healing. Like the first book, it describes the various chakras and energetic link ups with various mental, emotional and physical conditions or mindsets, and how things look at the subtle levels. Worth getting if you are a healer.
