I had my tea stuffed into a cardboard box originally so, already miles better than that. I love the glass and being able to see my different teas before I even open it. That way if I have guests over they don’t have to guess “what’s in the box?!” and know exactly where to find the tea if they’d like to help themselves.It’s beautifully made and is a nice addition to my kitchen counter. You could store it, but if you’ve got the space in your kitchen you might as well display it.If you have friends/family who love having all sorts of tea, I highly recommend this as a gift. Or even for you. It was a “treat yo self” gift to myself. I never thought a wooden box would make me so happy but here I am writing a review about it!

I brought this tea chest as a gift for my friend and then had to purchase one for myself. The person who received the gift was very excited about the teas.The the chest is very impressive for gift giving. Loved the beautiful style the box.Each compartments can hold 8-10 standard paper wraped tea bags.Tea bags fit well standing or lying flat. Craftsmanship was beautiful!It's a must buy holiday gift for tea lover!

You'll love this! Beautiful, well built, shipped early. Wood chest is beautifully shaped and stained. Lid is heavy weight, beveled glass. Tea bags fit easily in ea compartment & easily removed for use. I'm not saving this for company & its too lovely to put away. Makes my afternoon tea an event with all the variety in this lovely chest.

beautiful piece but the glass is not replaceable
is the glass replaceable, if yes how? as I unscrewed and the glass did not come out.
