Hohner 30" Beautiful Hardwood Child's Guitar

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter’s birthday. It is made in china. The build quality and aesthetic is fairly poor as expected. As a fiddle player I'm no expert on guitar, but I'd say the sound matches the build quality. The pictures show a gig bag, cd/book, and tuner that are NOT included. The description is mostly accurate; you do receive the guitar (fitted with strings) and a little booklet with some tunes categorized by country or origin. I think it is a stretch to say it is "Carefully crafted and precision-tuned just like a fine adult-sized guitar". It does only cost ~$60, so I received pretty much what I expected (although I am disappointed with the country of manufacture). Frankly, I'd say this is a realistic beginner instrument for a 5 year old. If she shows an interest in pursuing it, we will invest in a higher quality instrument as she gets older. I would have given it 3 stars since the product quality matches the price, but dropped it to two since the description is misleading (purposely I suspect).

Great guitar for our 4 year old....holds a pretty good tune (if the pegs are left alone!) we've had for a year and it has held up extremely well with 3 kids 4 and under!

This a favorite musical instrument for my 4 year old grandson. Quality of the exterior is very good. He likes to pretendhe is playing like his grandfather.
