I received my broom today, took it out of the box, and went straight to the kitchen. My cat took one look at it and decided it was ok to investigate, but was probably wondering how you plug the darn thing in. I could also tell my cat was figuring out how to escape once I fired it up. I started sweeping and my cat was puzzled - it only made a swishing noise, nothing like the vacuum! No escape was needed. I do not own one of those sweepers that you use a cloth once and toss. I had an old broom that was plastic and really just not functional. So then I found this. I like that I can quickly sweep around the kitchen - no noise, no plugging in the vacuum. I got the parlor size because my kitchen and eat in area are small and this can maneuver into small spaces. It sweeps very well. I like that I can sweep and no one in my family will holler at me that I am making too much noise. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice to have a hole drilled in the handle at the top so I could run a leather tie through it and hang it on a command hook. Another plus is made in USA!

I love this broom. It's just the right size for me, at my age I really do need a broom that is light and easy to maneuver, that I can easily put into my car, with a handle long enough that I don't throw my back out using it. Unfortunately, it was stolen from my front yard as I set it down momentarily, and I am very disappointed to see that it is currently unavailable for me to order another. Please make more soon!

I love this broom. The head is small and is easy to use in my small kitchen. It does not collect dog hair as my plastic bristled broom does. Just sweep up the dirt and throw it out. Broom bristles remain clean.

I didn't expect it to be as small as it was but it sure doesn't take up a lot of room! It works fine, seems to be well made and is pretty! I like that the product is made in Lancaster!

The way things are these days, you can pick up all sorts of cheaply made brooms at a dollar store... However, the huge difference in QUALITY makes it worth the extra money! This little broom is very high quality! It's perfect for the front porch of my log cabin. My husband asked if he could use it almost as soon as I took it out of the box! The head of the broom is rather small, so if you're looking for a broom to do large areas, you may want to look at the other brooms this company offers. For little jobs like sweeping small areas, or in our case, sweeping off the log walls on the front porch, it's perfect.

After running all over the place trying to find a STRAW broom, with no luck, I searched and found this gem. I have a small workshop (sewing, embroidering, etc) and this broom is a life saver at the end of my workday. Gets into tight places and corrals all the runaway threads. So much better than the horrible synthetic brooms you find most everywhere at the big chain stores. Very pleased with this purchase.

Love this broom, works great and is just the right weight and height for me. I’m not terribly tall and didn’t want something too heavy or unwieldy and this fits the bill. It sweeps wonderfully, does not excessively shed, is earth friendly (important to me) and can get into small spaces easily and effortlessly. It’s a great broom, does what it’s supposed to and maintains a traditional, earth friendly construction. It even looks as if it’s part of a traditional lodge decor. Recommend!

It's a broom. But, I do like that it's narrower than a standard broom. It easily gets into smaller areas and is really quite efficient.
