Fits the knock offs (at least mine)
I am very happy with this purchase for a couple of reasons. (1) I got it as a warehouse deal, which meant I didn't pay full price for it. (2) It fit my Harbin Geological Compass DQL-8 . Yeah, a bit of an extravagance for a cheap Brunton Knock off (the price I paid for the case was a little less than I paid for the transit).On the other hand, I have a good case which will last a while: probably longer than the Harbin! I can decide whether I want to splurge later on.Of yeah, the case is really good quality even if what I have in it is so-so.

Well made
The leather case is well-made. My Brunton fits tight, but I expect it'll loosen up soon enough. The last case lasted me 30 years and was a bit more strongly made, IMO - rivet connections have mostly been replaced with sewing. This doesn't matter, because at my age I'm sure the case will outlast me.

Work just like the original
Terrific Brunton compass case! Well constructed of nice, soft leather, but will definitely stand up to the rigors of field work. My original case lasted almost 30 years of use, and I expect this one will, too!

Great case
Very sturdy and fits my ancient Brunton well. I've been using it for a year now, including daily use at a month-long field class and the stitching and snaps are still in excellent condition.

This fine, rugged leather case will last longer than I will--. If you have a Brunton Compass, you owe it and yourself to keep it safe. This case is worth every penny.

Very Good Case for an Expensive Compass
I like the product and the price!If someone has an issue with the inside portion of the snap, I covered mine with a felt dot, simple and easy remedy!
