These are the best raisins I have purchased in a very long time. They are more flavorful as well.
These raisins are wonderful, they are larger than the raisins sold in the supermarkets and much dryer, which makes them better for my use.

Raisins tasted like Alcohol
The raisins were nice and plump, oversized and looked very nice. However, when tasted it was clear they were fermenting with an alcohol taste. I guess the raisins wanted to become white wine, which normally I would encourage, but not in my carrot salad. 🤣

HUGE! I use it in my curries, chutney’s n salads! They are outstanding! So yummy!!! Because of size a little goes a long way! It will not disappoint.

Large, Plump, Tasty; what's not to like!
I was surprised at the size of these raisins! They are large and plump (not in dehydrated form). Very pleased with this product.

Jumbo, but strange, powerfully smokey aftertaste
As raisins, these truly are jumbo, sweet, and moist, I really like them. However, the batch I received has a strong, strange aftertaste. I identified it as being smokey; my parents as "like shoe polish". Other commenters have called it chemical or synthetic. I doubt it is every batch, but it seems it is common enough; As such, I don't think I'd recommend ordering these, or if you do, be prepared for that possibility. Amazon agreed to refund my order, and I'll be trying a different brand this time.

Yum! I bought these to add to my morning bowl of bran flakes. I hate the raisins in the cereal. These golden plump, extra large raisins make it a real treat!

Weird oily, smelly golden raisins--ugh!
I would prefer to give this a "one-star" review, but it had some things that were okay. They were big raisins--that's what I wanted, but they had a strange oily surface on all of them (vegetable oil is listed on the ingredients list) and an odd smell. I tasted one cautiously, and I didn't like it. I decided to soak them in boiling water--and that helped them taste closer to normal. I soaked them longer. There was an actual oil slick on the surface of the soaking water from the oily raisins. They plumped up nicely and tasted better when soaked for an hour. I've bought other Golden Raisins from other sellers, and they were nothing like these. I would not order these again.
