Very happy 😊
Awesome and useful double knife, come with additional blades would be a bigger bonus to come with a pouch.

Strong & Sturdy and Excellent Value.
A strong and well-made, useful tool. An unusual, but effective, blade-locking system which puzzled me for a few minutes! Another 'challenge' will be to find out how to release the replaceable craft blades! Excellent value for the price.

Great and high quality knife.
Very high quality, especially for the money. A few of the panels have very slight gaps, but this is a very minor nit-pick. Blades go dull just as quickly as any others, I would highly recommend switching them out as soon as they feel the slighest bit dull - buy a huge pack of them and don't worry about it for a long time. The in-built blade is mediocre, and doesn't arrive particularly sharp. The retention mechanism is a bit fiddly, and usually requires two hands to put back in. Not the easiest.

Worth the money and a must have item.
Love it...quality at a decent price...with both knife and cutter blade in one...exactly what I wanted...another 5☆ item.

Design needs a rethink!!
This knife seems really good quality but one thing that is really annoying is that the stanley blade holder doesn't sit within the handle very well, it sticks out and doesn't seem to lock in to place. It seems like it needs a notch out of the metal to make it sit in nicely over the bar internally. There is a small picture of a lock on the side of it, but it DOESN'T lock in to place because of this issue.

The safer safety knife
I have to confess that I already have a couple of folding knives with the famous "Stanley" knife blades, but I was not aware of "Stanley" knives with auto-retracting blades. From now on I am going to call them utility knives, but you know what I mean. After looking at a few on-line, I chose this one. Amtech is a famous name at the value end of the tool market. The price, £1.45, was incredibly low. The fact that it came with no spare blades wasn't an issue as I already had spare blades hanging around at home from previous purchases. Amazon delivered it quickly. I had to sign for it - due to the age restriction. But all was OK. After unpacking it, I noticed that the red handle parts were metal (probably Aluminium given the low weight). That was pleasing. The knife operated as expected. I was a bit worried as I am left handed, and the handle is not symmetrical. But whether I use my right or left hand, it was fine. Out of curiosity, I opened the handle up to look at the mechanism. I didn't expect to see much on the inside (£1.45 remember). Inside, the blade was held on a black plastic carrier, and there was a spring to provide the auto-retraction. It all looked fine. In use, of course, as soon as you put the knife down, the blade completely disappears inside. This is much safer than the folding style of utility knives, that usually lock in the open position. And it is much safer than the snap-off or manually retractable knives. I look at it and think "why did no one think of this before?" If you use knives with utility blades, use this one. At £1.45 it is worth a try. And you won't look back. Buy one for each of your tool boxes. Thanks for reading this review.
