Stand-Up Rabbit Wine Opener Corkscrew with Foil Cutter and Extra Spiral (Charcoal) by Metrokane

The product itself is great. I’ve had one for many years and it is quick and easy. I recently ordered another of the stand up rabbits and Amazon has not yet been able to send one. In three orders, none have been correct. They sent the vertical opener each time, though the charge was for the stand up.

I thought after seeing the picture of the opener that this comes with the see trough holder (pictured). My friend has this opener with the neat holder. I wanted that. A bit dissapointed.

I like the opener but the description does not match the product I received. I received a matte black, rubbery version in different packaging than pictured (which was cracked). Not worth returning, but I think the matte black one I received retails for less than this one described. FYI.

Simple, easy to use. It is shown with a case but it did not come with a case! Because it was a gift, I was willing to pay a little more for this one.

This is the 2nd unit we have purchased. First one lasted many years and was easy to use. This unit is okay at removing corks but ejecting the removed cork is very difficult requiring reaching into the unit and pulling the cork out.Also, this unit as pictured in the ad, appears to be sitting on a stand. No stand was included.

I had one for about 10 year and it quit working so I decide to buy another one. This one gives me so much trouble trying to open a bottle. I’m so disappointed. I decided today to return it but my return day was up 2 days ago. I’m so disappointed. I only gave one star because it made megive a star.

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST wine opener anyone can buy!! I received one as a gift about 5 years ago and it's still like new today. It easily cuts the foil off the wine bottle and removes the quark before you can count to 3. I loved it so much that I bought one as a gift for my cousin that loves drinking wine too. This is my "go to" gift for wine lovers. Highly recommended!!

This device lacks the heft and solid construction I was looking for (and thought I was paying for!). It's a bit of a struggle to pull and release the cork (isn't that why we buy these things in the first place?), and I see myself replacing it (due to wear-and-tear) sooner than I would like.Meh. Look elsewhere.UPDATE 02/03/2017: The device failed: the screw and lever have become dislodged from the plastic housing. This brings my review of this product to one star (zero is more appropriate). A cheap piece of junk. Avoid it at all costs.
