Pop the cork, not the vibe! 🍾
The Puigpull Corkscrew in sleek black features a Teflon-coated spiral for smooth cork removal, an ergonomic handle for comfort, and a compact design that makes it perfect for on-the-go wine enthusiasts.

I'd given up on corks .. then this!
I'd used the "waiter's corkscrew and liked it, but then the plastic and poor quality corks became harder to pull. And indeed, the "Stelvin closures" screw caps came along and were much better for the wine .. no "corked" wines, hooray! New Zealand even made them the law!But not all wines come with caps so what to do? I tried several alternatives and none were really successful. This is great, however. It replaces the two-levels of the waiter's corkscrew with a ratchet "car jack" which just simply works.

Declining product quality.
I have a 10+ year old model that works perfectly. But this current product is a lower quality for much more money. Glad they still make the Puigpull. They probably don’t have any direct competition; hence, one Amazon seller charging $104.00 for it.

Piece of junk
The spring that holds the screw in place slipped out of place the first time I use the corkscrew. I will not slip back. I have a chunk of metal that cannot fit anyplace except a drawer.

No Box Included
I ordered (3) of these. (2) of them came in a box, one was in a plastic bag. The box has the instructions, and is very necessary if you are giving as a gift, so I will need to return one of them. I did compare the one in the bag with the one in the box and they did look identical. I love the novelty of how it works, the finish on the materials is pretty poor unfortunately so it will always be grouped in the novelty items category.

even if they are old and the cork is not in good shape. I ordered this one for my cousin ...
I have used one of these corkscrews for about 20 years now. I originally got one when I joined the Italian SlowFood club. I find that it is rare that I can not pull a cork from a wine, even if they are old and the cork is not in good shape. I ordered this one for my cousin since I was recently at his house and he had difficulty pulling a cork with an expensive device that he had. I would highly recommend this corkscrew

Great for conversation
This is a cool wine opener. It’s a great conversation item. It’s easy to use but not the fastest opener

Works well
Efficient corkscrew that works very well. It does take a few times using it to understand how the mechanism functions. There is a blade to remove the wine wrap, and a ratchet type lever to remove the cork. Highly recommend.
