The best Combiner Wars torso so far!
Just having jumped into the Combiner Wars I picked up Silverbolt on amazon before he hit the stores even though I already had purchased the individual limbs elsewhere without reading any reviews about the Superion set. I was not disappointed! Silverbolt looks great in all three forms. His robot mode is extremely articulated and his jet mode is nicer than the last version we had by far. But the big winner is the Superion torso mode. It holds together perfectly and allows for any Combiner Wars limbs to be added. While the Superion head is just a swivel the hips are so much better than the Optimus Prime CW torso hips allowing you to have Superion sit or kneel on your shelf when you complete him. There are extra ports on his hips, back, and other spots to store each of the weapons from the individual robot limbs so you don't lose them. That's a big plus! The box is alos collector friendly meaning you can stick Silverbolt back in for storage or a move. Overall this is the best combiner torso of the bunch and works even better than Motor master, tho he's easily second best so far.

One of the best Combiner Wars figures
The figure is decent on his own. His vehicle mode comes off as a robot hiding under a plane, but the weapon included can be mounted under the fuselage, and even has molded in wheels to make it look like an extension of the plane. His robot mode hits all the right notes and feels very sturdy in hand. Where he really shines is in his combined mode with four of the deluxe combiner wars toys. The legs are a tad thin, but the ratchets in Superion's hips are super sturdy and string enough to support the weight of the other figures. Even if you can't get the rest of the aerial bots, any four combiner wars deluxe figures can be used as limbs to make your own custom combiner. The end result is truly a sum that is greater than its parts.

Looks like the G1 Silverbolt but with articulation added
Looks like the G1 Silverbolt but with articulation added. I saw one review that seemed to bash it because it looks like someone took a robot and strapped a jet to it's back. Well, that's what the G1 version was and it didn't look or feel as good as this one does. The transformations are easy and can be done just by looking at the box... but that's how I do all of them. Who needs instructions? The reproduction of this Silverbolt looks like they spent time watching G! cartoons in an effort to get something that is almost IDENTICAL to the original. Amazing detail throughout all the way down to the face. Beautiful display piece especially if you have the originals to display it beside. When combined with the others from the set, this robot is almost the same height as the Masterpiece Optimus Prime. The articulation of Superion is as well thought out as what was given to the individuals. The only complaint about the set....DRAGSTRIP IS A STUNTICON.... NOT AN AERIALBOT!!!

I think this would be a great thing that I can pass on to the next ...
I've always been a fan of the Aerialbots. I had Firefly when I was a child and was never able to complete Superion. This second iteration is somewhat of a second chance for me. I found the construction of this toy to be very well-made even without the die-cast metal parts that were abundant with the G1 series. I think this would be a great thing that I can pass on to the next generation! Truly something to foster a great sense of wonder and imagination. I just wish they would bring back more of the swash-buckling adventures the Autobots starred in to give these robots more context. Transformers Rescue Bots is great to foster imaginative play and I hope the Aerialbots make an appearance in it to give them a more swashbuckling hero adventurer context for younger people who might already have these toys.

THE Combiner Wars Torso
Being at the end of the Combiner Wars line, I can say that Silverbolt is the worst Voyager sized figure and makes the best torso of any combiner. As a robot he is very Silverbolt. Nice big stoic robot man with decent enough posing and a plane stuck to his back. His gun is sort of fun looking, and the sculpting is really nice. He's just rather plain is the only reason I'm not in love with him.If you collect transformers, you know what to expect from an airplane. It's a plastic plane carrying a robot under it, for better or for worse. The plane itself looks very nice! But we can't pretend you can't see Silverbolt hiding underneath. As a Torso this guy is fantastic. The look is great, the proportions are great, and he pretty much works well with any of the limbs. Though the head on Superion may not be the G1 head you remember, it looks neat and very robot-y. This is THE best torso for my combiners. You can find him and the Voyager Scattershot for cheap these days, so I recommend having at least one if you like combiners.Be careful to flip his crotch symbol so he doesn't have an upside down Autobot crotch like mine did for months.

A great Silverbolt.
It looks great, and easy to transform. The only issue is all of the kibble on the bottom, but it does have good reason. This is mitigated with his ability to combine with other figures in the series. This is a great combiner in the Hasbro series. Superior is very posable and good in size and is better than Optimus or Motormaster (this is based off of him being on the same mode as Optimus) for combiner purposes. If you're a combiner fan, get it.

Not impressed
Joint of the head broke off. Difficult to articulate feet and other joints.

Definite must have.....
No matter if you get a combiner wars transformer or not, as long as you keep your choice between voyager and leader class then you can't go wrong. I had to transform it back and forth a few times just to get used to the mechanics of it. But it's very simple and after a few transformations then you should very easily be able to remember where and how everything goes. Very clean transformation. I don't really care for the "clicking" parts like the arms or whatever, but it seems as tho it adds to the durability when in robot and jet modes so I can deal with that. The product came just as described, although the shipping left something to be desired. But all in all I'm proud of this purchase and I'll be buying again from this seller if the prices don't jump thru the roof. 5 ⭐️S from me all the way. Good job seller!

Excelente

Disappointed with wrong delivery
Just like another reviewer I received a different and much cheaper transformer. It was a big disappointment for my son who was eagerly looking forward to silver bolt. I hope they give me the right one after the change.

El niño está encantado
Tiene un buen tamaño para que no resulte un armatoste. Para un niño pequeño puede ser más difícil hacer el cambio de figura.
