Good product no problems

I was running into issues in my snail tank during water changes. My tap water is very very soft and acidic, obviously not good for snails. I had them in a tub filled with aragonite and wonder shells but the time after a large water change I was noticing shell erosion since the water still took some time to harden up despite all the hardening products in the water. I started adding this calcium on top of my normal GH/KH+ and that seems to have done the trick! New shell growth looks perfectly healthy! I put it in these 2ml pump bottles and now water changes are an absolute breeze. I'd recommend the same if you have a lot of water you change regularly.

My water is very hard but for some reason has very little actual bioavailable calcium. My mystery snails have really be struggling and I was looking for an effective way to directly add calcium to the water column quickly. I decided to try this out alongside a calcium water test kit, and used it to get my calcium levels up to 60-70ppm/L which is ideal for mystery snails and other snails. This is formulated to marine aquariums but it can be used in freshwater with some caution and a calcium test kit. A little goes a long way. Really helped my snails!

Reef Calcium is good quality, but very expensive in the scheme of things. I switched to using the Bulk Reef Supply Bulk Calcium Chloride that I mix myself and that is much more affordable and seems to be just as good at raising my calcium.
