So excited for possible long-term results!
So, I did 4 stars for comfort because this traction pillow put some pressure on certain points that were uncomfortable - but that’s a good thing! It means they need to be worked on, and this can do that. Bit of background, I have some degenerated cervical discs, plus bone spurs which causes chronic neck pain, muscle spasticity, and some nerve issues including occipital neuralgia. I recently started having increased issues again so this arrived at a great time.Today was my first day, and I tried it twice, for 5 minutes each. The first time I felt some deeper tension melt away in my shoulders, and it was weird, but great. I was originally planning on trying it once a day in the beginning, gradually increasing the time spent, but today my body had different plans. A few hours after my first session I started getting hints of my occipital neuralgia acting up. After an hour and a half of my standard treatment not working (which can happen occasionally) I decided to give the traction pillow another try. The first 3ish minutes the pressure was very uncomfortable at the base of my skull, but then I could feel the effects start to help. When the 5 minutes were up I could get good gentle stretches in with increased mobility and my head and neck felt SO much better. Not perfect, mind you, but when dealing with nerve pain if something eases you out of the debilitating zone it’s HUGE.Today’s results give me huge hope for what this could mean for long-term improvement, and I’m really excited to share this find with my spine care specialist. I’ll still need the root causes fixed at some point, but this has the potential to increase my quality of life until then.

It's not a cure, but it's good
I have had chronic neck pain for about four years now after bad posture my whole life. I'd say on a normal day, my pain is probably around a 3 during the day—not too noticeable when I'm still, but pain when I try to move my head around—but 6 right when I wake up—dull pain when I'm still, and I can barely move my head from the stiffness. Some days, the pain will make my shoulder blades burn, or nerve pinching will cause sensations to radiate down my arms, which can be very painful. These days I would rate around 8 on average.I've purchased a few things to help the pain: shoulder harness, neck brace, special pillows, and some have helped improve the pain overall, but they don't provide short-term relief if I am already in pain. This product helps in the short-term (and potentially long-term). Now, it won't get rid of all the pain, but it helps make it much more tolerable. In the mornings, I can use it for 10-15 minutes right after I wake up and it will reduce my pain from a 6 to a normal 3.I also do neck exercises, which can be difficult because my neck is so stiff, so the stretches sometimes actually make my neck feel worse afterwards. This helps make it much easier to stretch my neck. It's also good for the neck exercise where you lie down and push your neck back, as it provides much better flexible tension than a normal mattress.I haven't had the opportunity yet to try it when my pain is worse than normal (and I hope to update this review when I do), but for the price, there's really no reason to not get it.I rated it 4/5 stars because I expected the process to feel slightly more satisfying and give me more of a stretch (as I associate with the term "neck traction").

The most painful, pain relief device!😭
After reading reviews of this product I just had to get one, they were so good!!! Once I received it I was shocked when I tried it out, absolutely the most uncomfortable thing I've ever laid my head on, compatible to trying to lay on a big rock with a little bit of egg crate cushioning on top. The white plastic form is so incredibly uncomfortable I don't know how anyone can find this ridiculous thing comforting or pain releasing because it caused my neck to hurt more! I would return it for a refund, but it would cost half of the price I paid for it just to ship the dumb thing back! Reviews had to be from people working for whoever designed this, I don't understand otherwise. I used it per directions as well, please don't waste your money!

Just eh
This will align you neck and spine, which is critical for neck pain and migraines, but I feel as though it doesn't put enough pressure on your neck. For migraine pain or cervicogenic headaches, which result from the neck, pressure is the only thing that relieves this. I haven't slept with a pillow in years. I sleep with a rolled up bath towel, and as crazy as this may sound, I often sleep on the landing of my stairs, with my head cradled on the first step, where the crook of my neck is in the base.I am not saying this is bad, it is just weird. You can only use it on the floor, and the base seems like it will snap at any moment. It did feel good to lay on when I didn't have a headache, but it did nothing to relieve my migraine. Imitrex and pressure are the only things that relieve it. I was disappointed.

Great idea, poorly executed
I had high hopes for this based on most of the reviews. I have real neck pain, and most times I have a very stiff neck with soreness all throughout my upper back and shoulders. I’m 34 and 5’2, I’m a small woman but I feel like I must have the biggest head ever because soon as I used this, my head basically immediately the ground. It’s a good idea, but the materials are too cheap. The plastic piece that’s supposed to support you just flattens out, defeating the whole purpose. I have a device that attaches to your doorknob or something about that height that you can lay your neck in, called a neck hammock. It works great!! I just wanted something a little more convenient. If you have real neck pain, look up the neck hammock on amazon.

Overpriced but works okay
I think the product is overpriced for the quality. It's cheap China-made. A couple of the blue trigger points at the back are really thin and not cut well at all (see pic 2) but doesn't really affect its use. It has some sticky bits on the product too. The product gives a nice stretch to the neck but that's all, the 'trigger points' don't really do anything. One of the photos of the product has a woman using it while in the car. In the info slip that comes with the product it states not to use when driving. Not worth the money in my opinion.
