The specs at the jbl website say this can be handsfree speaker phone but its not. am i missing something?

The speaker only plays music . Does not work on phone .

Can I use a power cord with this speaker if the battery was low and still listen to music?

In my experience this speaker will not work while plugged in if the battery is already low.

Sound seems to only come from the front right side of the speaker. Is this normal?
