Escape the Game: How to make puzzle and escape rooms Kindle Edition

I was hoping it was going to give me some ideas for my rooms but it was just general knowledge.

I bought this book to get some ideas for an escape room I wanted to create for work. I am an information security awareness professional and I wanted to created an entertaining way to get some lessons across. The escape room that I created was a perfect way to do it. Some of the tips and hints that I learned in the book helped me build the one that I launched, such as set up a waiting area, build an outline, add clues, test, test, test.

I am working with a company to design escape rooms and this book provided a great starting point in helping in this journey.

It was a brief look at the behind the scenes of the room escape. I agree that the puzzle portion of the book can be found for free online, but this is the only place I have learned at least a little bit about the business end of it.

Remember back in high school when you were assigned a 10 page paper, but you only had 7 pages of material? What did you do? You made the font slightly larger, increased the margins, and decided 1.25 was almost the same as single spacing.That's what this book does.In addition to the typos and poor editorial notations, the overall design is very poor. This was particularly distressing because the whole book is about design.Quite frankly, it could have been written by a high school student, and I wouldn't be surprised, but I might still be disappointed.

I have learned much about building escape rooms from this book. It is well laid out and highly informative. I gave it a 4 due to the need for editing of the text.

If you want to set up your own escape room business, this book is indispensable. As the author cautions at the beginning, it is not a guide to having a small business. Look elsewhere, because there are hundreds of books about that. It is a guide to how your small business should create and operate an escape room. There is little advice available on that topic, so get this book.

Well written book, I was hoping for more how to set up the intricate parts of the game so that it flowed. i.e. How to set up the puzzle.

Se si è proprio a digiuno della materia e ci si vuole informare di questa novità nel modno dell'intrattenimento questo è un buon acquisto. Se invece già si conosce un pò questo mondo allora forse è superfluo.

Escriba aquí su opiniónmuy muy básico. Trae un ejemplo al final y también bastante sencillo, no aporta gran cosa y habla de generalidades.

Pues no quise comprarlo, y quise devolverlo inmediatamente a través de su página y sin éxito. No tengo ni Kindle para poder leerlo. Pero si lo hubiera querido de verdad, sería buena la opinión.

Buf! No sé què pretende el libro, pero es malísimo.
