A Gift Inside Sweet & Savory Farmstead Fruit Basket

I ordered this basket for myself, and the 'merry christmas' one (exactly the same but for the ribbon) for my husband who is travelling. They were both perfection - exactly the contents that were described and shown in the photos. The non-fruit foods were all fresh, all fruits completely delightful. I do want to say too that in addition to being fresh, the non-fruit food (2 types of cheese, almonds, petit fours, chocolate covered peanuts, etc.) were quite good...products I would choose to buy again. All expiration dates were well into the future, at least a couple of months.The pears were particularly wonderful. They ripened within a day or two - I took one out of the fridge each morning to have later in the day, and voila! Perfect!! I haven't had pears that good in years. (We don't have much luck with those in our local grocery stores, and no local farmer's markets/orchards have them here either.)I'm actually back on this page because I want to order another one for one of my sisters - I think they did a fabulous job and I'm really pleased. My husband feels the same way about the basket he received.UPDATE: 2/15/18: I've lost count now of how many of these baskets I've ordered, and I have not had even the slightest disappointment or stress with my shipping or products for my self or as gifts.. Of course in this delivery today, my pears were there (YAY!) and an extra surprise of pecan caramel chocolates.....what a wonderful thing.And, I have to say, I was so exited when my basket arrived....and then minutes later I found out I'm losing my job tomorrow. A fruit treasure in one hand, and a truly ruinous email in the other. I sat down on the floor with my dog and my good china and crystal and we shared cheese and crackers and oranges. We ate well and with good camaraderie.....thank goodness the basket was just as reliable and true as always. (And of course desert later will be a pear!) :) Thank you for your consistently perfect baskets!!

My niece called to thank me for the basket. She was very impressed by the fruit. A good value.

This basket is beautiful but I was very disappointed that the note I included did not come with the basket. Also a couple of the fruit were bad. Doesn’t sound like I should give a 4 star rating but it was pretty and the cheese is great. I’m not sure I’ll go this route again because I’m very particular about my notes.

Sent to my mother in law after her hubby passed. She was so happy and said the basket is perfect and she will use for her knitting. The other family members that were still there with her said it was good sized and items were great. Was larger than I expected for price. Bought the one that was around $66 and it totalled 71.00. Will definitely send this product again because quality and size compare with baskets that are 129.00 elsewhere.

The tangerines were bad , other fruit damaged. But the 3rd pic shows what came- they forgot the popcorn, peanut brittle and the sausage. The almonds were supposed to be chocolate covered, they weren’t. The mustard was supposed to be pecan honey. The mustard ended up being smoked onion. I chose this for my daughter who loves sausage popcorn and will only eat nuts with chocolate on them- also she hates onions, so this was a total bust as it did not deliver as promised. How can you screw up that much? Yes I got my money back but that is not the point. So unhappy

Sent 3 of these baskets at Christmas and everyone loved them! Many raves about the quality of fruit and the delicious snacks. I like the variety of items as well - sweet & savory, plus healthy and decadent.

I have given this product as a holiday gift for a few years, and no one got the hint. So, this year I played Santa and sent the deluxe package to my husband and me...I was not disappointed. The three varieties of juicy and crisp pears were the best, but the citrus, apples were also delicious! The cheese, crackers, and salami were a great addition! The samples of candies and dried fruit were a great treat! I loved it all, and I even have a nice little basket for my next brunch. I recommend this deluxe basket because it has so much...perfect for any occasion, and you can pick your ribbon.
