Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish, Streak-Free, Shiny Finish, Long-Lasting Nail Color, Iris Illusion, 0.40 fl oz

This is a lovely color, fast drying, goes on smoothly, and honestly, the two coats held up longer than my professional pedicures have. No chipping! I’m happy with the quality and would purchase again.

What you see in the second picture is three coats of this polish after applying a base coat, but before applying a top coat. (The first picture shows this polish finished off with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear "Strobe Light" for a little sparkle). This polish was not a solid color as I was expecting. But I ended up loving it. It is a slightly opaque, opalescent color. You could just apply one layer and forget it for something different from just clear polish. But if you want more color, you will have to apply several coats. It has a lovely metallic lavender sheen to it. Wear it alone, dress it up, or use it as a top coat over a solid color. For the price and quality of this polish you can't go wrong!

This is good quality polish, but it's just iridescent. There is no opaqueness to it. I was expecting a bit of pink color based on the product photos.

I literally use it all the time I love how long it lasts. I wanted a sheer but shiny nail polish and this one delivered perfectly. It dries fairly quickly too so it’s convenient for me.

I bought this as a gift for my niece who adores purple. When I received it I was disappointed that it was not purple at all like the photo, but instead was clear with a iridescent sheen. While I, as an adult would wear this, my niece will definitely want to add a purple base before adding this or skip it entirely. I would have returned if it wouldn't have been more of a hassle then it was worth.So if you are looking for a clear polish with a fun sheen, this is it, if you think it will look like the shiny purple in the product photos then it will fall short

Iris Illusion was ordered. What was in the botte looks like Uptown Pearls which I already have. I contacted the manufacturer to let them know. I will keep it though. For the price of it, it's not that big of a deal. Uptown Pearls makes a nice top coat.Edit: after contacting the manuacturer. They told me that they look the same in the bottle but one has silver undertones (Pearls) and the othet, purple (Iris). They do...sort of. Have to use more thin coats to make it look good.
