The Definitive Guide to Cyanotype
This book is the definitive guide to the craft and art of cyanotypes. It is a wealth of information, clearly structured, and is accompanied by excellent visual aids. The author has gone above and beyond to provide the reader with detailed knowledge on various sub-topics: the paper guide, toning recipes and showcase of artists have been particularly useful and inspiring. If you want to explore what cyanotype is capable of, this is the book to get.

Great book, just not for the gift I needed
This is an amazing book full of well written, technical information, however, it was purchased for a fourth grade art teacher that was looking for a more practical guide on cyanotype. If it was a little less expensive, I would keep it for their class in addition to something more suitable for them. If you are serious about Cyanotype and want to know more about alt processes, get it. If you need something for little kids or beginners, maybe start somewhere else and get this if you (or your kid) sticks with it.

Must have for printers of all levels!
Fantastic resource, amazingly thorough testing and documentation, outstanding troubleshooting section. An amazing book that I cannot imagine starting the cyanotype process without. I've printed two shows using what I learned from this book and have sold a bunch of prints!

Great information on a fun process
My book arrived this morning and I spent the day looking through it. I love all the information on papers, digital negatives and different formulas. It is written clearly making it very easy to follow whether you are a novice or expert making cyanotype prints. Enjoyable to read and wonderful to look through. I also enjoyed seeing all of the work by contemporary artists. Bravo Ms. Anderson!

Incredible resource
I've been goofing around with cyanotypes for a while as a distraction from platinum printing. While the results have been good, I lack the understanding to really build anything. This book will change that. It is very comprehensive and easy to read. She has done a tremendous amount of research and provided answers to just about every question out there. BUY THIS BOOK. There will come a time when it might go out of print (e.g. Dick Arentz Platinum/Palladium) and you will cry salty tears.

Detailed cyanotype making Information
Excellent information on papers and variations in Cyanotype chemistry. Excellent section on digital negatives. Detailed, readerable information, not a dry read but personable. Really enjoyed the section on contemporary working artists.
