FIRST DAY TEST RIDE OF THE JUPITER BIKE 2.0 – 7/14/2019
People seem to be really impressed with it. However, some girl on a regular bike laughed at me. That made me laugh too though. It gets some looks, that is for sure. Good conversation starter. The seat is not too comfortable, so I ordered a post adapter directly from Jupiterbikes.com which will enable me to add my own kind of seat. I did make it home on the bike, but I chose to walk it up the steepest hill portion of my trip back, about an 8th of a mile, or so just to make sure I had enough battery to complete the trip. Once back on more level ground I was able to finish the trip with the electric motor. On the way down earlier today, I was really cruising fast downhill, which was nice, but the brake was having trouble slowing me, so I did a Flintstone-style feet assist. The brake essentially reverses the motor in the back wheel, so I was afraid to overwhelm it too much. Overall, it's a solid bike, well designed and made, but not for anyone too much taller than me (I am about 5-foot, 5-inches tall), and certainly not anyone too heavy either (I only weigh about 148 lbs.). Also, it does not have any shocks, so bumps are really hard. I bought an inexpensive hand gun black zipper bag and mounted it to one side of the bike to carry the charger in, fits perfectly. The bike will still fold up fine with the bag on the outside of the fold. I had LED lights for the front and rear from my previous road bike, so I installed those and they fit fine. I also added a phone holder so I can see the bike's stats while riding through their app - speed, battery level, etc. The fastest I had the bike up to was 18 MPH, downhill. It usually averaged about 11 to 13 MPH on relatively flat surfaces. Mounting the items to the handlebar prevents the handle bar from stowing and folding down, but it makes more sense to leave it up anyway so you have a handle to carry the bike with. You don’t want to have to carry this bike around a lot, it’s not all that light to be carrying around much, and I am extremely strong too (don’t let my height and weight stats fool you – I am weight lifter / strength trainer, and I lift really heavy too). I wheeled / walked the bike around in the store where I bought the phone holder and bag and nobody seemed to mind that at all, but they all looked at it. I guess I did about 10 to 12 miles today. First stop about 4 miles down from my home (my home away from home – a place I frequent a lot) I charged the battery back up for 2 hours. By the way, when going uphill, that battery drains down fast.A couple changes I would make to the bike: I would make the food pegs sturdier and longer so you can sit more comfortably and not in a knees knocking together type look and feel. I would add optional horizontal extensions that you can attach to the handle pars for a wider feel up top too.I give it a 4 out 5 star rating, so far, as it does what I expected overall, but that seat is not good, the post adapter for another seat should come with it (be nice guys, you know the seat is not good, you even sell another one on your website). I also have my doubts on the 10 mile range without an additional stop for a charge, especially if you encounter even small hills. I do think it's a good product and I will add more reviews in time.Okay, so there is my review of the Jupiter 2.0 Bike for the first testing day.

Faster than Expected
This bike is awesome! So convenient, I can fold it up and carry it into the office with me. I have folded it and ridden on mass transit with it. I have also used it to run errands in the neighborhood. It is much faster than I expected it to be, holds a charge and is a great conversation starter. Great bike for the money.

The upgraded seat was a great addition even though the original seat is fine too.
I received this bike just in time for my beach vacation. It is so compact I had no problem getting it in to the trunk with the rest of my bags. I used it all day on the beach walk on a single charge. I love this bike and plan on packing it for all my outdoor excursions.
