Nice to purchase a great product that helps the rainforest
The coffee was fresh and tasty. Nice and bold with some complex flavors. With coffee like this there is no reason to resort to Sta*bucks.

Sumatra Tastes Burnt if Brewed Strong
Read some reviews saying coffee tasted burnt, but overall it rcvd 4 stars so I chalked it up to people not used to dark roast. Wrong! It actually does taste burnt. And I drink dark roast almost exclusively. None of the flavor notes you’d expect from Sumatra.Update: I brew my coffee strong. Tried making it with less coffee and the bitter burnt taste went away, leaving a very smooth cup of coffee but still missing earthy Sumatra flavor notes.
