No it does not, the level 5 will actually make a brighter image than the level 2 with the same projector due to it's higher gain.

Yes, having the surface being primed will not cause any issues with this product.

Can this be rolled on?

Yes it can. You will want to use a teflon coated microfiber roller. We sell a roller kit for this product (ASIN B00THGS532) that is the ideal roller to use.
