ARRLSDB PU Leather Password Lock Diary, A5 Size Diary with Combination Lock Password Journal Locking Personal Diary (Multicolor)

I bought it for myself, for some privacy in my home and to feel more secure with my thoughts.I like that the journal inside can be taken out and replaced with a new book once the pages are filled. I took out the back side of the journal so I can have the inside pocket for money, my credit card etc. The pages aren’t that thick, but I did use a gel pen, the ink was seen from the other side, but didn’t bleed through. If I would use a ballpoint it should be fine.There is a bit of space, so that when the journal is locked you can see the corners of what you’ve written, so if you have super nosey peeps trying to see what you’re writing I would leave the juicy stuff towards the seam, at least until an inch or so towards the outside.The locking part works great, not that hard to rotate. It doesn’t lock when it’s not on the passcode, I don’t know if that’s normal or not, but it doesn’t bother me. To change the code was easy, the package came with easy to read directions :)Overall, a great journal. Pretty design, seems durable. I ordered the larger size, which is perfect for what I want to write. I saw some of the other reviews said the original size was more like a pocket book, so if you want to change the size to a larger one I would look at the dimensions.

I love it. Hopefully I won't have a problem with the lock like some of the reviews say. I wrote in mine as soon as I received it. I will update my review if I have a problem with the lock but so far so good

Niece loves the book. I always wished I had this when I was young like her. 5 stars because seller is active and quick with answers. You don’t get that often at all on Amazon.

Bought this for my 9yr old niece and she loves it. It’s good quality, good thickness size and the lock is not super cheap.

It’s beautiful and I love the idea of it because I NEEDED a journal that could lock. The downside is I will have to purchase another one because the lock isn’t very effective. It’s difficult to work it
