LIFE CHANGING
Man this thing made a night & day difference when leash changing my dog. He is a 80lb shepherd with some social disorders that make him extra hyper focused and hard to contain at times. I stopped walking him myself after he grew so much (we got him as a tiny puppy) because he chases cars and would jerk me into the street and most times I have my toddler with me so I said nope! Not to mention his regular colar and even harness he would choke himself out on I felt like it wasn’t worth it. It was a struggle because then having him at home - with his disorders especially made his pent up energy hard to handle! This collar is LIFE changing. He corrects himself when he feels it tightening. I don’t have to pull on him, he doesn’t jerk me around or leave my hand aching after a walk. Cannot recommend this thing enough. Only change I would make is a clasp or something to make it open easier for removal. Choke collars like this are NOT meant to be too lose otherwise they can damage your dogs trachea. If it goes on easy changes are you don’t have it on them correctly. So that being said putting this on and taking it off of him is a little challenge to get around his ears, but so worth it for how effective it is! 10/10 recommend.

Hard to put on!
I have about a German Shephard weighing about 100 pounds. I am 75 years old and the collar is great for me because I am a small woman and the collar gives me much better control when I am walking him. However, the video showing how to use it was a little misleading because the collar doesn't actually have a clasp to open it. They said "pinch" the links to open it or just turn it inside out to put it on and then turn it over after you get it on. Well, there is no way I could "pinch" the links to open it. And last time I used it, after turning it inside out to take it off, somehow the link that attaches to the end that attaches to the chocker chain end twisted and I could not undo the twist. I ended up taking it to my son to use his strength to "pinch" a link to open it and use his strength to force the other end back where it was supposed to be. Sort of like those old puzzles that are linked together and you have to get them apart and put them back. Over all, I am happy with the way it performs once I get it on and situated. Materials are great and it is well worth what I paid for it. Much easier to take him for a walk now!!

It works once you learn how to use it without hurting them but for a sharp pinch
I have an American Bully, Mad Max that this was the only one that slowed him down and even with this he's dragged me 6 feet before I could stop him. I changed up using this as an bad boy chain and the leather with spikes for his good boy collar because I learned how to make this one to come to me and walk with me a lot better. The only thing with the one with spikes can hurt me if he lies down with them hitting my arms the right way.

saves my joints and sholder
keeps my dog from ripping my shoulder out of the socket. She get way to excited and like to run sporadically. This has finally got her to start walking normally..

Too difficult to link and unlink
It’s durable. I will give it that. But understand that you will be standing over your dog for 10 minutes just trying to get the links together. I have owned prong collars before and had a great one. This is not it. Heaven help anyone who has weaker hands. It will break their wrists for sure.

Walked my dog without pulling for the first time in 9 years!!
This is a great product. I really like the plastic tips, it keeps it from being sharp and not painful. I put it on my arm and it’s more of a soft poke than a pinch. That being said, I love my dogs more than anything in this world and I wouldn’t have bought this if I thought it would injure them in anyway. I have used just about every training tool out there (head collar, EZ walk harness, martingale collar) but nothing helped my 85 lb. German Shepherd/Lab mix. I even tried the whole stop walking when they pull, reward when they don’t pull method. I used this collar on our most recent walk. That was the first time I have been able to walk her in the 9 years I’ve had her without her pulling me and yanking me around!! Next walk I used her martingale collar (no prong collar even on her), and she still didn’t pull!! She doesn’t walk perfectly next to me, but the leash is loose and she’s not hacking because of how hard she is pulling me. Now I’m slapping myself for not getting this sooner. Prong collars are not cruel, especially not this one with the plastic tips. It’s not painful, and it’s an effective training collar. I definitely recommend it.

Had no clue what to do
Had no idea of what I was doing. The black things were so hard to put on. I believe it would be perfect for the right person. Just not me
