Why are the reviews here about a book on every other breed when it is a book on Chow Chows? The purchase of this book about Chows was a waste of money. It is so generic you could just substitute the name of almost any other breed in any chapter. The author keeps returning to talking about puppies over and over again, puppy stuff applicable to any breed of puppy. The section on grooming is so generic that it is useless. Chows have specific grooming needs that are not even addressed in this book. There is little written about the adult dog, and absolutely nothing about adopting an adult Chow which is different from adopting most adult dogs. The author clearly does not know much about Chow Chows. He appears to write a simple, generic book for which he can change the title and cover photo. Ugh! This book isn't even worth one star but the review app requires the selection of at least one in order to publish the review.
