Required on my generator
Was told in no uncertain terms by the manufacturer to use this filter. My Champion whole house generator uses this filter with pure synthetic oil. The service department at Champion was emphatic that these were the only filter to use. Spins right on, oils seems clean, no problems.

Fits Allis-Chalmers 5030 tractor.
Oil filter makers are deleting size info from webs, making filter finding by seal size, thread pitch & size a problem. Happy to find this filter correctly listed as fitting 40 year old Japanese tractor engine.

did not fit well on my car
the seller was fine, the product that Napa made did not fit tight enough on my car. It was the correct number for my engine, and properly installed but would only tighten to a certain point then would not turn any tighter, resulting in a slow drip leak. Do not buy a Napa Gold 1516 for a Ford 3.8L engine.
