Excellent book for beginners.The author guides you through the programming steps by using real life analogy. This is an excellent book for people who are new to programming concepts and trying to learn Python as the first programming language.If you are already familiar with other programming languages, this is not for you.

I believe this is a very good book for those who have never programmed before as well as for those who need an intro to the language. I especially like how it focuses on getting the student to fully understand and solve the problem before writing any code. It teaches one to think in a computational way, like the author states. I'm enjoying it very much.

I’ve been using this book for about a month now in conjunction with our library’s high school summer education center. It’s amazing how many kids want to learn coding and programing but will drop out when the going gets tough. I’ve had a lot more success with this book than any other I’ve used in quite a while. It’s written for beginners with only a rudimentary background in coding. It assumes you’re a beginner unlike many other books of its ilk.The book is laid out in logical step-by-step increments using language that a beginner can understand. Learn to Code with Python is a wonderful resource that teaches the fundamentals of programming with the Python language. This book is easy to read and makes programming concepts easy to understand. This resource is designed to take a reader with little to no experience in programming (of any language) and introduce them to the basics of data types, conditional, loops, and object oriented programming. It’s also useful to help the programmer who wishes to migrate to the Python language. Each subject dealt with is supplemented with sample code that can be easily integrated and modified to work in other programs. I would highly recommend this book to beginner programmers as well as to those who want to learn the Python language.

This is a straightforward and nicely-sequenced approach that is well-designed for beginners -- particularly apt because Python is often regarded as a beginner's language. The instruction on string objects/sequences of characters is a very nice example of this. (As is Lesson 17 - Customizing loops.) Oddly, Python is going through a bit of a resurrection now, being used more extensively in the fields, so that increases its playability/utility in the present.

highly recommended book for people who are new to programming. Each concept is explained in detail with examples. Very easy to understand. The capstone project at the end of each UNIT helps in learning/practicing.

Libro para los que no tienen ni idea de programar, no solamente en Python sino en cualquier lenguaje. Demasiado tiempo con los preámbulos y el pseudocódigo hacen de esta obra un poco decepcionante. Si no tienes idea de nada, este no es tu libro y si tienes idea, tampoco. De todas maneras se pueden recoger ideas para la enseñanza del lenguaje. Por lo tanto solamente al profesor "friki" de turno sacará rendimiento de el. O no.Hoy a 29 de abril de 2019, después de una mirada más detallada, quizá haya sido demasiado exigente, posiblemente por haber analizado otro libro de la misma colección, y lógicamente me esperaba una obra mas avanzada, le subo una estrella. O esto, o yo también soy un profe "friki", quizás incluso, como obra para "No Iniciados", podría haber puesto incluso 4 estrellas.

YouTubeの彼女の動画を観て惹かれ、Googleで彼女の画像検索をしたときに写真と一緒にこの本が紹介されていて、アマゾンで検索したら、あった。（＾＾）で、即発注したしだい。内容はPythonを使っているがプログラミング全体の学習の仕方のようで、Computerが好きな人なら楽しめると思う。楽しみながらPythonでコードの世界を学習していくという使い方をしています。とにかく本にも彼女の人柄の良さが滲み出ていて、本を開くのが楽しい。（＾＾）
