Great for budget oriented home DJs.
Hanpin equivalent of the PLX-500 internals. No preamp but mixer can compensate for that. Nice and steady, good enough for scratching as long as you arenโt heavy handed. Comes with headshell and Ortofon needle so you donโt need to purchase seperately. Good budget non-super OEM turntable.

Reloop table
My first one was defective, but Amazon exchanged it and this one works great! Very nice unit! I recommend it if you are just needing a good sounding table.

Great turntable for starters who want to listen to records and DJ
Its great for listening to records, if you got an external preamp like a DJ mixer or the like. I take away one star because the RCA and power cables aren't removable, so its gonna be a pain in the tushy if it has to be repaired but it is more economical to just replace it. It's got pitch control with a reset button to reset the pitch back to 0. It also includes an +8%/16% button for a wider pitch range. Basically a modernized version of the original AT-LP120, down to the motor but lacking the space for a 45 adapter and height adjustment for the tonearm. The body itself is quite hollow and can detect a lot of vibrations if you have it on a computer desk.

Not exactly what I expected
This turntable is very misleading and I should of done more research on the specs or capability. This turntable works perfectly fine if your just playing records for listening. This is not a professional high torque motor for consistent dj mixing or scratching, if that's your thing. The platter surface is somehow coated differently, like it's not smooth but most of all, the torque does not withstand the intense backspin and forward for cueing the record. It even sounds a bit noisey when holding the record as the platter spins. I thought I could cheat and go with a budget turntable but man I was so wrong. As it is titled and sold as a professional high torque direct drive turntable. Do yourself a huge favor..skip the wasted time and spend the extra $200 bucks for each RP-7000 MK2 as a set. A way better investment! Glad I'm able to return! Unless money is not an issue, then go all out with a pair of Technics.

A HARD NO for a gigging DJ. Not "Hi torque". Loose buttons and sliders.
Maybe I am jaded and used to what "Hi Torque" means in that a turntable platter can stop and start in a fraction of a second. Not so with these. Nice price, well known design and look, solid build, but the quality is definitely get-what-you-pay-for. Shell out $500 or more for a professional dj turntable if that's what you are looking for. These are adequate for at-home play, but even my Numark PT-01 portable stops and starts on a dime. These drag for a solid 1-3 seconds to start or stop. Slipmats do not "slip" but grip the platter on handling the vinyl to backcue or scratch, but I thankfully have a set. All buttons also "jiggle". They work as they should for the function when pressed (and the reverse and +- 10 were what got me to buy) but are not tight and clean so dirt will eventually work it's way in. As of this writing I am stuck with them and will use them anyway, but certainly have buyers remorse as a gigging DJ. My 20+ year old Numark tables still hold up but are too ugly to take out. Hopefully I can get my money back somehow on this investment. Should have followed my gut instead of saving $.

NOT very good sound damping
And when I lower or raise the tone arm with the little lever, the arm moves REALLY far. I have to do it slowly, like a slug moving across a leaf to get the needle to drop into the groove I'm trying for. And yeah, I've done the antiskate adjustments several time, seems to be a problem in how the mechanism that raises/lowers the tonearm moves - there's some lateral play. ALSO, my major issue, is isolation from the cartridge. I'm using an Ortofon OM40, very light, and despite several layers of vibration dampening, I'm STILL getting bass feedback into the needle, and if I touch the turntable, THAT sound transmits directly into the speakers. Kind of annoying. I was also expecting RCA jacks AT the turntable, not a hardwired system. Not a major show-stopper, but something I'd expect from a highly-rated, somewhat pricey TT. Static buildup is a problem. I've checked grounds, relative humidity is around 40%, even bought a deer skin platter mat which reduced it some, but not eliminated it. Would i buy it again? No. After a LOT of shopping, searching, reading reviews, I chose RELOOP over Technics, and will likely take a hit on dumping this TT in the near future for something a little more solid. *********************** update. Still using this, but ONLY for mono LPโs. I got a mono needle for the Ortofon OM-40 and for 1930-1960โs era jazz, it sounds fine. Howeverโฆ that motor rumble is getting REALLY annoying. Not louder, and it only started right around the time the Amazon return period was over, but if I touch a cleaning brush (Discwasher D3 or carbon fiber) to the LP MAN does it get LOUD and takes a few seconds to half a minute to settle down. Havenโt dug around into the mechanism yet, but I suspect thereโs SOMETHING that can be tightened, greased, or replaced that will stop this as, yes, it DOES transmit through the cartridge. Tried selling it, NOBODY responded to ads for almost a year as I dropped the price to about 30% of what I paid. Maybe in another year or so, after amortizing the expense a bit more, Iโll donate this to Goodwill, take a tax write-off, and buy something better. My MAIN TT is a Thorens TD125 Mk II with upgraded electronics, SiNi bearing in the platter with a sapphire plate, SME V tonearm, Ortofon Cadenza Black. 52 years old, dead quiet. In summary, Reloop? POS. Run away. Avoid.

Need a pre amp
This is a great turntable, but not for beginners. Took it out of the box set it up and I was ready to rock, but i could not! This turntable needs a pre amp! It is not an expensive fix it is just annoying that in all the descriptions nothing about a pre amp was never mentioned!
