Bare Decor Erika Corner Shower Spa Mat in Solid Teak Wood and Oiled Finish, X-Large, 30" x 30"

Thanks to another review I saw here, where the buyer took theirs apart to make it smaller, I went ahead and bought the 30x30 mat, knowing it was a little too big. I took it all apart into about 200 pieces, which might have been over-kill, removed the 3 longest slats from the middle, and sawed off the ends of four of the brace pieces. I had to drill a few new holes due to the realignment. It all went back together and is now 27.5 x 27.5 inches. A perfect fit and it looks great! Note that I am a 73 yo woman who lives in an apartment, not a woodworker with a shop or even a little cordless saw which would have made this go a lot faster. Nope, I used a cordless screwdriver/drill and a pruning saw, and my self-healing grid-marked cutting mat really came in handy for getting everything realigned. It took me all afternoon to complete. But it was fun. There was a spot of glue around each screw, so I had to pry it apart piece by piece after removing the screws, which was a little scary. But no fear! None of the wood split despite all this abuse. This is a great product made of quality materials. I haven't actually used it yet. UPDATE: I've used it a few times now and it's very non-slip, feels great with bare feet, and smells good. Still five stars!

Ordered the one I thought would fit the best it was too big for my shower, so I ordered the smaller one it was too small. Sent the little one back and went to trimming on the larger one, took about an hour to get the perfect fit. We had a crack in the shower pan because Keystone did not have enough support under it. I added support and fixed the crack with some marine epoxy. I still didn’t like the flex and instability of the floor. This thing is awesome! Very sturdy, well made, quality teak material, now has a spa-like feel to the shower. Great upgrade, well worth the cost/effort!

We recently moved into a house with a water softener. I am not used to the slippery water! Especially in the shower, even with a textured tile floor, I felt I was going to slide and fall on my bum. I spent days shopping for (and unfortunately buying) shower mats that were so unappealing: bunched up, suction cups didn’t stick, still felt unstable. My husband saw the teak mats and insisted I spend the money. Well! It came and looked so pretty, the wood finished beautifully and I said: it’s going to be slippery. He said: they use teak for boat decks. I said: you try it first. When I stepped into the shower myself, I was stunned! The teak wood gripped my feet and was not even a little slippery, I felt perfectly secure and no rubber bath mat has ever given me such sure footing. Amazing.

Purchased this mat to fill in and help give some unusual design to a corner shower rebuild.. Looks absolutely beautiful.. very sturdy and solid.. fits perfect.. handles the water well Would buy from this company again

Makes 2021 keystone outback 341rd shower pan solid and stable. I ordered the 30x30, used the box it came in to cut a template then trimmed down using circular saw. I removed the rubber feet before cutting then reinstalled once done. I was able to leave the inside supports in same place by centering the template. Looks great

This is a nice heavy larger size teak shower mat. I have not used it enough to be completely sure, however, thus far I like it a great deal. It is sturdy and looks great. It makes me stand higher in the shower and feeling more secure standing while showering. The water flows through it and keeps the shower area looking like a spa.

I'm in love with this thing. From the feel to the look, everything just feels absolutely right about it. One thing is that I had to saw off a top portion just to get it fitting perfectly into my rinse stall and have been loving it ever since. Would highly recommend.

Item is very solid and well made. Unfortunately the dimensions quoted in the product listing (30 by 30 inches) are inadequate to ensure that it will fit. The two longest sides fit perfectly but the diagonal size from back corner to front edge, which is not quoted, is too great to fit a standard corner base. I could have done amateur carpentry and rebuilt it without the two diagonal slats, but I am not that skilled, and at this price, I shouldn't need to. Reluctantly returned for refund.

i was worried it wouldn’t fit but the other 2 photo reviews gave me confidence so hope this helps! fits great, perfect for my flimsy uncomfortable basement shower floor, and makes my bathroom smell like teak wood. literally feels like you’re at a spa every shower. i definitely recommend buying this! worth the money

looked great. i had to return it though, because i ordered a mat that was too small for my shower floor. wish it came in a few more sizes.
