Very important upgrade for WPL off roaders.
Absolute necessity for your WPL car. The gears in this transmission are nearly 1/4 inch wide and the larger motor offers an outstanding power and speed improvement over stock. The low speed in this transmission further increases torque and controllability for outstanding crawler capability. Do not buy a WPL car without this transmission. In fact, dont buy one at all unless you like to tinker and upgrade things because youll be doing it a LOT just to get the car reliable and practical. Thats my jam though, so Ive had fun buying upgrade after upgrade, replacing the radio, axles, motor, battery, and finally entire transmission to get a reliable useable car.

Worked out great with an easy install. Great purchase
Built the truck in a couple hours and had it running with very little concern. I will have to adjust the shift servo. Beware when installing, make sure the servo throws the lever all the way. Something I will have to fix myself. Just wanted to let anyone know. Totally a good purchase. The speeds are good for indoor-outdoor runs.

Two speeds. Bought it mostly for the slow speed so it has more climbing power.

JJRC Q60 Motor upgrade
Replacement for a severely weak 130 stock motor on a JJRC Q60. Not worn out just underpowered from the start. Using stock electronics and manual lever lock to shift for the gears but holy moly! Thats how a crawler is supposed to work!!! A+++ FYI you will need the metal diff parts or be creative to make the drive shafts work with an otherwise stock machine. For the Q60 atleast.

Its not a metal gearbox..its not the crappy ORIGINAL skipping 2 speed ABS gearbox
Max Metal is only a name dont be fooled that this is a metal product.

Love the transmission and motor but it arrived needing work
The pinion gear fell off the motor the first time I used it before I'd even hooked up the driveshafts... it was extremely loose on the motor shaft and nobody stocks the 8t gear needed... lucky I had a 260 wpl motor spare to steal the pinion gear from and everything works great now that a tight fitting gear is installed.

Works good
Had to make a few modifications to make it fit wlp c14. But I’m not mad. Actually pretty pleased.
