Perfect for covering the glass bed of a 3D printer to keep PETG from sticking
This knockoff "Kapton Tape" is dirt-cheap and it performs exactly the same as the much pricier brand-name tape. I use it on a 3D printer's glass bed. PETG plastic sticks to glass too well. Putting this tape on the glass keeps that from happening. When switching back to PLA, the tape is easily removed, and is much less messy than using glue-stick as a barrier. One roll of tape lasts a very long time.

Works well for 3d printing but here are some tips!
I bought magnetic flex plates from Wham Bam with their PEX hi temp plastic but I had very little success with adhesion with plain old PLA. So I bought this Kapton tape and replaced their PEX film with this material. It works well. Applying this film takes practice but I can do it successfully every time now. Pull back about 1" of the roll and tape that edge to the edge of a clean counter so the tape roll hangs down. Next, pull down and unroll a length longer than your build surface. Clean your build plate with IPA and the spray it heavily with soapy water or something soapy like Windex. Now cut the roll free of the hanging tape, peel the edge off the counter, position the tape on the build plate and squeegee the water out for perfect results. Sop up the excess water with a cloth. If you need to trim the tape, find a flat clean surface you can cut on, flip over the taped build surface and used a very sharp exacto knife or new razer blade while pressing on the edge your cutting. If you attempt to use it right away, you'll get bubbles. Leave it for a few hours or place it on your heated platform at 40 degrees C for 20 minutes. I always scrub the taped surface with 000 steel wool and clean with IPA after scrubbing and between prints. You will need to re-scrub once in a while for good adhesion. The optimal bed temperature for PLA is 60 degrees C.

Perfect for 3D printers
I love this stuff! I have been using blue tape for years and the first time that i put this on the build plate, my printing got elevated to the next level. It produces a glass like finish on the build plate side and is super easy to get off when the print is done. It also lasts for ever as long as you don't nick or scratch it when removing the print. It is a bit of a pain to put on the build plate but the benefits far exceed this little issue.

A great way to save on Kapton sheets for 3D printers
I bought this to coat the glass print bed for my MakerGear M2 printer because the width of the tape (200 mm) is perfect for the glass. The only reason for deducting one star is that it can be very tricky to work with but I can't blame the product so much as the nature of the product. It took a few tries to get the method down (I'd strongly recommend watching a YouTube video) and it took 2 people to get it right for me. The most difficult thing about working with it is if it tears then it is very difficult to be able to get it back without the tear. My advice is if you have that happen, the best method I found to remedy it is to simply tear the tape all the way to the edge and remove that piece. Trying to pull the tape back beyond the tear is nearly impossible. Other than that, it works great and does a good job protecting the bed and providing adhesion.

Works well
I used this tape for a circuit board project I was working on. It works great to insulate the circuit and was also really nice for holding wires in place while soldering.

Sometimes black electrical tape isn’t the answer
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Thinner than electrical tape and I feel it makes some of my higher entry coils safer to work around to prevent the soldered ends touching things they shouldn’t touch or accidental arcing. Easier to apply that thicker electrical tape

Great Kapton Tape!
Resists heat well. Sticks to what you want t to stick to, but it is easy to unroll or remove, and cuts easily to shape. I used this in a Li-ion battery project that gets hot when pulling deep amp draws, and there have been no issues with the tape deforming or peeling. Great price as well!

Great Kapton Tape!!
The kapton tape works as expected. It resists high heat and holds everything together. I use it to keep the heater/thermistor on the hotend of my 3d printer. It is extremely thin. Which really surprised me. The thinness isn't bad. There was much more than enough for my 3D printer. This tape worked perfectly. I used the tape to cover some of the printed motherboard of a PS4 in order to replace the HDMI port. The repair was a success and the tape held up with no damage to the motherboard. Great product

The product itself has worked well. The disappointing thing is the edges of the roll are not clean and uniform and the tape will tear in unexpected ways when trying to pull it off the roll. In other words, nicks/dents on the side of the roll are the issue.
