It's a good coffee
I'm no coffee guru, nor am I overly sophisticated when it comes to coffee. I like to drink it. my pallet is what is is and I know what I like and what I don't I tend to enjoy coffees from Guatemala and have had a few varieties over the years. I can't say this is the best I've ever had, but it is far from the worst.my average coffee consumption consist of a Keurig machine and mostly Gevalia dark or Folgers Trail Blazers blends K-Cups, a couple a day will do it. Easy, convenient, good. once or twice a week I treat myself to a french press, which is where this review comes into play. I like a fresh grind from whole beans. I stick to a formula of 17 parts water to 1 part coffee. I use filtered water heated to a boil, then brew for 4 minutes. The result is yum. smells fantastic, silky smooth to the palette, low to medium acidity, no bitterness on the finish.I would definitly recommend, and I will be back for more myself.

Not the best
I was really hoping for a much smoother tasting coffee. No matter how I make this, it is bitter.

I'm partial to the Huehue. The coffee is good but...
it's overpriced for what it delivers. I consumed multiple bags before delivering this review. I'm willing to pay for a good cup of coffee but based on the volume of beans I consume on a monthly basis I can get an equally good cup of coffee from other producers at a lesser price. It's not dunning the coffee as much as dunning the price to be clear about it.

I like the taste
I thought I was buying whole beans, but that was my fault. I used a cloth strainer I bought at a local Asian supermarket for a few bucks and set it over my French press. It seemed to work. The coffee itself was satisfactory. Not sure if it's the same as the Starbucks Single-Origin Huehuetenango from 2 years ago that I was chasing, but things always taste better in memory. It's a medium roast, so there is some acidity along with the nuttiness, but it's a good balance.

Smooth medium roast flavor
I have been drinking coffee for over forty years, and this is simply the best, most consistent brand I have ever had. This medium blend has a wonderfully robust, complex flavor that hits the mark without being too strong. I will be buying it again and again.

Great Product
I purchased this coffee as a Christmas gift (put it into breakfast themed gift) and the recipient loved it! She says it's smooth and rather creamy, even without milk and sugar. She loved the aroma right from the bag, and drank it to the last drop.

Quality Guatemalan coffee blends
Good coffee is hard to find and I’ve discovered my love of Guatemalan coffee and it’s flavors. Nice blend of woodsy, fruity and creamy Arabica beans. I’ve tried to make my money count by buying more from smaller roasters with Adiesto cooperative, which at times makes it costs a bit more.
