Vitamin C serum 25%

I bought this serum because of the 25% Vitamin C in it, which is the highest concentration I have found so far. I have used several other expensive brands (of Vitamin C serum) over the last decade and I have noticed much better results with this product, more noticeably after 3-4 weeks' use. I'm in my late 40s and have spent years trying to undo sun damage. I've used every expensive product out there and practically live at the dermatologist. My anti-aging routine now consists primarily of prescription Retin-A at night (2-3 times a week) and Claire-ity Vitamin C serum EVERY MORNING. I use it very first after washing my face and I let it soak in for about 5 minutes before I apply my sunscreen and makeup. On the nights I do not use Retin-A, I use this. I have not done Botox or facial fillers in nearly 3 years because I feel my continuous use of Retin-A and Vitamin C have helped my skin tremendously (and periodic use of my Clarisonic and hyaluronic acid). I first noticed a considerable decrease in my crow's feet after using this serum for about a month. I feel it does a great job in working the collagen, repairing damaged skin, and it gives a nice, smooth glow as a base under my makeup. My husband likes it too, he uses it when he feels he needs a little repair to his skin! The price is great and since the dermatologist simply recommends Retin-A and Vitamin C on the face, I've stopped wasting my money on all the expensive products that don't work. I've been using this product for a few months now and I'm hooked. The combination of using Claire-ity Vitamin C and Retin-A will save a lot of $$ in doctor/aesthetician visits in the long run, at least for me. Many times I also let the serum soak in and apply 2-3 coats for extra hydration. It's a must-have for both repairing skin and having a healthy glow, I love it!!

I am 51 - light skin with gold undertone that is oily and prone to freckling and blemishes. Just now showing signs of wrinkles in the past 4yrs. From reading other reviews I thought that I'd see a big difference right away. Maybe it's too soon. Ive noticed that it has increased the oil production in my skin. That's not terrible but it means I have to blot and powder more often like I did when I was younger. However, my oily skin kept me from prematurely wrinkling so its a mixed blessing. The serum smells ok, it's a gel and tightens up when it dries. I'm a bit pink when I first apply it but that subsides quickly. Neutrogena retinol seems to plump my skin more than this vitamin C serum but I will continue with this bottle then try some others to make comparisons. ***Updated Review*** - I stated previously I didnt see much difference with this serum but I applied it under my eyes for the first time (i hadnt before because some products irritate that area and make it look worse) and the wrinkles simply arent there! I've had oily skin my entire adult life but as I got older my under eye area became very dry and vulnerable to wrinkling. I don't know what or how it did it but the area is smoothed out where its was dry and cross hatched with lines. That makes it an amazing product for the small price. Im converted and a believer. I can't wait to see what long term use will deliver. Great product that I highly recommend for erasing fine lines. Hopefully it will help fade freckling on my hands and forearms from years of sunbathing. I wasn't paid for this reveiw nor did I receive any free products....just me, a satisfied customer!!!

Product has a thickened, gel like consistency, and is clear. After patting into the skin, it is quickly absorbed. It does not contribute to oiliness, or leave 'tacky' feel. One 'squirt' is enough for my face, I use another for my neck and chest. While not having a discernible fragrance, it does smell 'clean'. I am middle aged, with very oily skin, enlarged pores, and I am prone to blackheads and acne. I have not found this product to cause or contribute to any of these conditions. There have been fewer issues with pore blockage since beginning use, and a reduction in blackheads on, and around my nose. I can really appreciate the effects of this product on my cheeks. There has been a slight change in the texture, and perhaps 'luminosity'(?). A friend remarked that I have been looking 'glowy'. Pores do seem smaller, and I have been using all of my regular products, so it's either climate, diet, or some good effects from this product. This is my first experience with a serum of any kind. I like Vitamin C serum well enough to keep using it. As well as this product, I use Tretinoin .25. I use the Tretinoin every other night, with serum use on my off nights and in the mornings. At first, using the Tretinoin every night, with serum use in the am, I experienced increased peeling. Skipping a night with the Tretinoin has helped to keep me looking less like a lizard when I put my makeup on.

Its gud . Compared to other serum , this is very gud . I feel my face had lost all this blemishes , and gave a even tone. But this serum should b applied daily . Its a semi gelly form , tat gets absorbs in ur skin in second . If ur going to chemical peel , then ur next brightening agent is ascorbic acid ie vit c . Try it .

Skin reacting well to the serum...its not oily...very nice

Have been using it since the last 15 days, no visible signs of dark spots fading but my dark circle seems to be getting lighter also my skin feels fresh after application. Not apt if you're looking for dark spots treatment but overall an OK product for the price.
