VR Cover Foam Replacement - 16mm for HTC Vive Pro & Pro 2 (2 pcs)

I bought this because I play Beat Saber with my friends when they drop by and one of my friends sweats like a fire hose. If you have a friend like this, or maybe you're that person, consider trying this out. It's comfortable and doesn't become a sponge for your sweat. (Seriously HTC, that was a really stupid design choice). When your friend is done, just wipe their sweat off with a rag so it's dry for the next person to use! No more ringing out the sponge and watching your other friends recoil in horror.The cover is of good quality, sticks on the HMD well, and creates a good seal around your face that doesn't let light in. In my opinion, the leather also makes the HMD feel more... premium?... something you might expect from the factory when you shell out $$$$ for a VR setup. It's also a 2 pack - I've been using the first one for over a year and it hasn't shown any sign of wearing out. Not sure what else to say about it other than I highly recommend this as a quick upgrade!

I purchased the Pimax Crystal and found that the default face covers really felt uncomfortable and loose even with back dial tight. So I found a blog about the Vive Pro1-2 face cushion 16mm ..wammmo!! It works just awesome!!! I received a two set I wasn't expecting 2 but yes...A must have for Pimax Crystal users..the shape fits nice on Gasket it already has Velcro on Pimax Crystal face Gasket.

Works great, even with glasses. Knocked one star off because I feel like it's a little too thick and this gives the headset to much slop when doing intense activity, unless you overtighten it, which leads to other issues. Because the padding is too thick, it tends to get creases in it, which leave unsightly marks on the users' face.

This was the only cover I could find for the Vive htc that sells on Amazon, but I'm glad I found it! It's slightly larger than the one the vive came with (top one in the picture), but it fits and sticks well, and my glasses fit it it fine. It also works well with sweat. I had tried the disposable covers which created a fog on my lens. These don't do that and have room to breathe. They are also comfortable and easy to clean. Pictures show the original large cover (top), front (middle) and back of it (bottom). I would recommend it to anyone looking to exercise and build up a sweat!

Easy on, easy off, and super comfortable (IMO more comfortable than the original foam). Been using these covers for about 6 months. The fake leather might not be as grippy as the original foam, but properly tightening down the headset usually does the trick and I haven't run into problems of the device sliding around on my face. The way the fake leather creases on the device does result in some funny lines on your forehead as others have noted, though they aren't much more noticeable than the pressure marks the original foam would leave on my face.

It's OK, but it does not fit my vive pro all that well. It's a generic solution on the cheap.

This is the only real option for now, but I am impressed. I had an original Vive and had recently upgraded to the Pro, and needed new face pads for the family that would fit, as the old ones are too small. I had previously bought replacement pads for the Vive, and even the better options were of poor quality that ripped/shredded within a week of use. These pads are plush and more solidly built, and seem to hold up to the regular use we give them. Until there is a way to get the official foam pads, these are the ones you will want.

Putting it on the device, I was a little skeptical with the creases and ridges but, once the HMD is on, you don't really notice it at all. Doesn't have the central spike for easy centering but its still not hard to put on. Comfy and easy to clean.
