I’ve used camel milk in soap and lotion making before, so when I saw camel hump fat, I was definitely intrigued. Overall, I really like this product. The price is reasonable, shipping was fast, and it arrived well packaged. The scent is mild—kind of like butter—and the texture is semi-hard. It’s a bit tough to scoop out by hand (a sturdy spoon helps), but it melts easily with body heat. So far, I’ve only used it on my face and lips. Once melted, it applies smoothly and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. I use it as a sealant rather than a standalone moisturizer, and it works great. My skin feels moisturized without looking shiny or globby. Bonus: it’s fantastic on lips—way better than half the lip balms I’ve wasted money on. I can already tell this will be a staple in my winter skincare routine.

I absolutely love this for cooking! It has changed my life as well as my family's. Animal fats have been demonized for too long and I have to say I fully embrace the need and health benefits from products like these. 5 stars every time!

So far, I have just eaten it with a spoon. I didn't think it had any bad smell at all. It reminded me of beef tallow. It is maybe just a little softer than tallow. I think it was nearly tasteless with just a little bit of taste like beef tallow.

I bought this to use on my skin, and it works great for that.- Melts easily into skin, and helps to hydrate well. However, if using to cook with, this is disgusting! I am pretty good with most flavors, but the taste of this is gag inducing. I have never tasted anything so bad..

Got my package today (Nov 23, 2019) and it expires in December 2019. Not eligible for a return. I am so angry! Update: After receiving the product, I reached out to Dessert Farms directly on their website. Today (Nov 26, 2019) I received an email from one of their representatives and they have offered to send me a non-expired jar for free! I am happy that they have offered to fix the problem. I will review once again, when the new jar arrives. Update again: I received a new jar of camel fat directly from the company. I gifted it to my husband who work away from home in a remote location. He uses the camel fat daily in place of butter in his bulletproof coffee. He says "the smell is different but the taste is amazing!" I have ordered another jar to start cooking with at home. I am really happy with the customer service at this company - they went above and beyond to make me happy! I highly recommend them!

Funky smell when cooking and has a slight aftertaste. It was an interesting buy but I’ll be throwing the jar away.

I love this for making popcorn at high temperatures. I was using avocado oil before and it left a brown layer on my pan. Hump fat leaves a beautifully easy to clean layer that smells good and comes of with just a paper towel. I store in the fridge and use a sharp knife to cut chunks off because it gets very hard. It's more expensive than ghee but it has more vitamins. The taste and smell reminds me of potato chips. Try it.

Purchased this all the time and often for cooking besides ghee, avocado/sunflower oil, olive oil 🫒. Or when I don't have time to render them myself. The smell doesn't bother me at all & taste delicious with my foods. I also make natural body butter and works great from head to toe. It absorbs well on my lip, too. Looks healthy, feels smooth and soft. It's much needed for my family and I all year around especially when winter arrives. However, I've noticed a color change from when I first purchase it awhile ago. And I've purchased many. They used to be snow-white pretty, now there's a light brown tint to it. I've also noticed my old review got deleted. 🤔 You definitely can not spray this like the disgusting SPAM, unsure why it's asking me that. You will have to let it soften up a little or use a metal/wood spoon to scoop it out for cooking. It is easy to use not messy at all. We use it on nearly everything & fresh eggs for our children every morning. A little bit goes a long waaaaay. 😋 Ok quality, no different than my other beef tallow. Similar tastes and smell. Yummy! I'm one of those who likes to overstock incase of zombie apocalypse 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️. Seems as though price increased as well. I still love the hump but it will be on the back burner and purchase when there's sales. 😂 I do recommend if one wants to try it out at least once. We only live once and if you know how to cook, you'regolden! 💯🥳😍
