05 GMC canyon in Colorado have to be programmed at a dealership for the keyless entry remotes
It says you can program your 2005 GMC canyon or Colorado nope you can not you have to take him to a dealer and have them done even though the remote says it will.

Intermittent distance problem
Intermittently doesn't work at times with new batteries have to be within 3 feet or hold keys up. Heavy set of keys will cause the eye to break after time, redrilled a new eyelet and took some keys off ring

Take to dealer to program
Works, but had to pay dealer $160 to program. Their program instructions do not work

Excellent Quality
My old one broke where it hold the key ring so I used this as a replacement, I did not realize it had internals too which I did not use because I used the old one, either way, happy with my purchased
