Mac Running Like New
Great battery for my Mid 2012 MacBook Air 11 inch. I replaced my OEM battery with this one due to the fact that my old battery (NOT DEAD) had roughly 5000 plus cycle counts. I followed the routine of cycling the battery three times before actually using my Mac. Cycling is the key to a healthy battery life. I was able to get as much life as possible from my OEM battery of 8 years by continuing this process periodically. If anyone is on the wall about this battery, I would recommend it. All batteries are the same and of course may vary by user workload, but with proper care and usage it will guarantee the indicated usage. I am able to work free of a plug for at least 4-5 days. My workload is minimal by comparison to others, but I am able to check email, web browse, and do some standard computing with my Mid 2012 MB Air. As Mac continue to utilize less energy consumption programming, I'm sure that my usage will further increase.

Installation & simpilicity
I got my battery through a promotion via Egoway and I decided to order the battery for my 2013 MacBook Air because I was getting the replace battery soon indicator where it displays my battery. My delivery came the next day and upon the arrival the battery came with two screw drivers needed to remove the battery cover and the battery itself. On the Egoway box it’s say meets or exceeds original equipment and it does. For the price this battery is 35% cheaper and It works just as great. The indicator is gone and my laptop works just as great like it did when I first got and no over heating of course thanks EGOWAY!!!

Thumbs up for the latest Iteration of this battery.
Update 2021I had emailed the customer service about 8 months ago and they sent me a new battery no questions asked. The new battery seems to perform just about as well as the original OEM battery that came with the MacBook. I do now recommend this battery.5 Month UpdateThis battery now doesn’t hold a charge well. I get maybe an hour’s worth of power. Today I was doing some fantasy football research (in other words not running much beyond a browser and email) during lunch and what started out as a fully charged battery is now showing only 7%. I wouldn’t recommend this battery.Original PostMy old battery started to swell even though it still held a charge for 30-40 minutes. Apple wouldn’t service my 2011 MB Air because of its age so I had to go the third party battery route. The new battery is great. Super quick shipping (on a Sunday) and the battery works beautifully. The included special Apple screwdrivers made it very easy to open up the MacBook and remove the battery. The whole operation took about 10 minutes and requires no technical skills. I did go through and calibrate the battery basically by draining and recharging a couple of times. Now my MacBook operates like it was when it was brand new and holds a charge overnight with almost no decrease in battery percent despite sleeping and not fully shutting down the MB.

Good for the price!
My battery was swollen and needed replacing ASAP. I know I need a new laptop, but I’d like to wait a while and this is an easy, cheap solution for the short term. This battery doesn’t have a very long life. It jumps from 100% to 10% in about 30 minutes of use, but it’s good enough for what I need. It was very easy to install and comes with the magnetic screwdrivers you need.

Comes with everything you need to perform install
Installed the battery the other day. The installation was simple and took less than 10 minutes total. The battery came with two Torx style drivers that fit the case and battery screws. The longer two cover screws go in the middle to holes near the vent bar. Before removing the battery screws, disconnect the power cable by plucking straight up from the left and right side of the plug. It pulls hard. There is a screw in the middle of the battery too.Carefully plug in the battery but careful how much force you put on the logic board. No longer stuck near an outlet.

Sudden, random power failures
Seemed fine for a couple of weeks, then began suddenly losing power. Easy to install, held a good charge, I was excited... but now it will show battery level is at 39% or 55% and suddenly the whole system goes black. My old battery was losing juice too quickly, but at least it wasn’t randomly dropping out. I don’t recommend.

So far so good....
I replaced the battery in my MacBook Air less than a year ago, unfortunately it had a bad cell and started expanding and rendering the trackpad useless. I luckily caught it in time, ordered this battery for replacing the problem. All tools supplied, easy remove and replace (I've done this many times before, supported Macs for years at an EDU). Checked the System Report, the laptop recognized the new battery, all looks good.Lets see what it's like a year from now....

Battery is fine, tools are junk
The battery seems to be OK but the included tools are junk. I was only able to remove about 4 screws before the head on the Pentalobe screwdriver stripped out, and tis is not something found at the local hardware store. I would recommend shopping for just a battery then pick up a separate set of higher quality tools. The Torx driver is a bit more common but the Pentalobe is almost always an online purchase.
