Two seeds germinated and I'm excited to see how it grows!

Wrong order

I followed the directions perfectly. Zero seed germination. I contacted these guys and they quickly sent out new seeds. I followed the directions again, only switching to a south facing window to keep them warmer. Nothing. I consider myself pretty good with plants and I've grown plants from seeds before. I also live where these trees grow naturally so the climate is ideal.

Update 3 (4/26/19): moved two trees out in the yard for almost two years. Both seem survived! The first year they seem grow very fast, second year seem significantly slowed down in growth. Overall, very happy & excited we successful grew both from the seeds!Update2 (11/6/16): winter is here, baby trees lacks of sunlight. I keep it under lamp all night to give them more heat and light. The sprout from the second kit starts to look weird...it has really long leaves. Now I am wondering if these seeds are legitimate coastal redwood....between the two (4 total) have they look different! See pics for your reference.Update1: after a few months now I have three baby trees. Purchased total 4 kits. Only two were successful. Both had two inside. The germination rate is 10% is so right on... hope in two years I can move them outdoor.Original posting: I ordered two kits, just started the seeding process. Lost the instruction manual, had to order a third kit to just get the manual. Now I have three kits to start. Hope to get at least tree out of them. I will update my progress at a later time. For now sharing the instruction Manuel here, it has some good information about this type of red wood.

It was pretty dry when it arrived. Planted it just after christmas, not really sure what is gonna happen. Will update when i something happens.

Haven't planted it, but it was a great gift and truly appreciated.
