Provides for even stitching
Go slow and maybe run it along side a ruler and you will have very nice stitches on your leather. The star bits can be changed to allow a nice selection of pitching width.

Buy the hole punch tools for good sewing seam work.
I have used this tool one time and I am not impressed, I had the tool over 30days before I used it, if I had used it within the 30 day time period I would havereturned it. It marked the leather stitching row ok, but then I had to use a finishingnail to make a hole through the leather for stitching. I should have purchased thehole punch tools with the prongs that are shaped like nails, evenly spaced.
