Great value for small systems
Quick shipment and arrival. A bit of a panic when there was no over boxing, but it arrived safe and sound.3 "on" settings; bank 01, bank 02, banks 01+02. Could not tell a difference between bank 01 and bank 02, but you certainly know when both banks are lit. All are dimmable if you hold the button down and they all share the "power" setting. On/off with an external light switch or timer returns to operation at last power and bank settings.To my eyes:- Color temp seems around 7,000-10,000K with both banks on. A bit more yellow with single banks.Quantum QMSS measured at 4" from LED banks to sensor:- Bank 01 and 02 individually, 330-340- Banks 01 and 02 together, 450-460Brackets won't work well for my application, but they do offer a handy "tip up/back" design for some folks. Would work best with rimless or narrow rim tanks without glass/screen tops. Screw on the outside would offer some folks more options, but they still would not work with tight fitting glass or screen without modification. Almost dinged it (1) star for the mounting limits versus some available/similar Amazon lighting options. At the sub $20 price, this one is a hard deal to beat.Wish list would be Bluetooth app/control, but at this price, not happening.Net: I'll be running it on my tanks (those are 2 x 2.5gal depicted) for a few weeks and add a mix of plants to see how they do.
