Dragon X2S Goggles 2017

I ordered this because I broke my previous X2s frame and it came with different lenses than the ones I already have. My old lenses fit the new frame and the goggles fit just the same.I only broke my previous frame after three years of east coast ice boarding and associated hard falls, and it's only one of the little arms that locks the lenses into place (which I'm sure I could fix to work). I decided to buy a completely new set since I was already going to buy different light condition lenses than the two I already have and this was cheaper than buying the lenses separately and came with a working frame too.I originally bought these since the X2 were too big for my face and these are perfect. If you are thinking of upgrading equipment I would absolutely start with goggles first. These made a huge difference in visibility, and the ease of changing out lenses is key- especially when you continue into nightboarding. Which sounds obvious, but nothing is worse than thinking your low light day lenses will be OK and then being forced to ride without goggles with the wind at night. It is very easy to change the lenses. They really did last forever given what I put them through and is definitely worth the money!

These goggles sit about 1.5 inches away from your face. This creates a massive obstruction of your peripheral vision. The goggles must sit quite low on your face so you could see 2 meters from your feet, but then the foam presses on your nose so you can't breath. I have an average sized nose, but there was no position where these goggles felt comfortable near the nose. They're not even 'Asian fit goggles', they're 'don't fit anyone properly goggles'. I've let a few of my friends try these on, and nobody could see within 1.5 meters of their feet when standing up and looking forwards. I bought ones with a white frame, and the foam is black, so when you look through them you see this black, then white, then black layering effect, which makes the thickness of the goggles that much more noticeable. I honestly can't imagine a good skier or snowboarder who would find these goggles safe to use while riding. They obscure probably about 30% of your field of vision, and 90% of the first 2 meters close to you. They're very pretty to look at, but absolutely useless if put on one's face. I've tried to press them down against my face to see if they could be improved by cutting some of the foam away, but the plastic frame is so thick that no matter what you do, they'll significantly reduce your peripheral vision.

Not suitable for Asians, there is a gap in the nose

I'm so picky about my ski goggles & when I tried these on .. I instantly fell in love with the fit & great style! My first pair were purchased at full retail in Steamboat Colorado ( great snow!) & then I looked them up on Amazon & saw the exact pair at half price!!! So I bought a pair for my son who skis ALOT!!

I had very high hopes - but these are some of the most poorly made goggles I've ever seen. The "easy change lock system" is actually just a piece of plastic that barely stays in place. Very weak construction and not durable! Also, they came scratched and the foam was pressed as if it had been used before.

Amazing goggles! I was so impressed with the yellow/blue lens and how much better I could see the snow when it’s overcast and visibility isn’t good. Great looking goggles with all great lenses! If there was something to improve on, I’d say the levers to release the lens should click or lock in once the lenses are on, but they don’t, but I also haven’t had a problem with it either.

Would be a great package if the seller (GotYourGear) included both lenses. Not getting what you paid for seems to be a reoccurring problem.

Love these. Great case, quick lens change and 3 colors mean I didn’t need to buy anything extra.
