Arrived 3 days after the posted arrival date when I ordered, had to go buy it at a store
Product is always what it is, but this was listed as a Saturday delivery, I planned an entire menu for it, and it didn’t arrive until Monday. Total waste of my money

Short expiration date
The product is good. The label shows the product last for 2 years. I received it in December with only 5 months left before expiration. Looks like a company using Amazon to clear inventory nearing it’s expiration date.

improper shipping, bad food
The lid was *open* upon arrival. And, though I should have known ahead, the ingredients for this product are hair-raisingly processed and preserved. Yuck and yuck! The whole jar went straight from the parcel to the trash. NOT GOOD FOOD.

Great shrimp and grits seasoning
I like it -- a bit salty, and some MSG, but it adds a nice umami flavor to so many things! (Shrimp and grits!)

Yes it has MSG and yes and it is delicious!
Excellent product. The people reviewing this giving negative reviews seem to have no idea what this is or what it's used for. Put a bit of this in your Pad Thai sauce and it will give it a huge umami bomb and really add to the flavor. This is completely different from straight shrimp paste and the two absolutely cannot be used interchangeably.If you have an imaginary problem with MSG, you probably shouldn't be buying authentic ingredients produced in Eastern Asia since it's used in everything.

Has MSG!
Had I known this product contained MSG I would never have bought it! I cannot eat MSG and who would want to pollute there food with it? I have not opened the jar and will never use it. Waste of money for me I'm sorry to say.
