Its only when you take this off that you appreciate how effective it is.I went for a 25 mile spin recently, mid March, when it was fairly cold and tried this out. Its a snug fit covering your head, ears and the nape of your neck. I ordered L/XL as I'm a big chap but wouldnt say my head is bigger than that of the average male my age/size.After 20 miles it began to feel a bit tight around my forehead. Up to this point I felt no cold or numbness in my ears with wind etc. I decided to ride the last 5 miles without it and it was at this point that I found out how good it was at protecting my head from the cold. The difference was amazing. I had more sound, more wind and more cold which made my ride that bit more difficult.People have said about how tight their glasses felt under the hat. I have a pair that sit snug against my head but not behind my ears. They still fit snug even with this hat on.Pluses = Snug fit and keeps the cold out on head, ears & neckMinuses = Can be a bit tight with longer use.The fit might loosen up with use and I will revisit this review after many uses. Fits well if a touch tight/snug over my ears. Looks good and certainly helps when I am out on the bike during the colder and windier evenings.

Delivery was quick. It fits very well and is comfortable. Keeps the cold out. Good value and quality. Would recommend!

Although slightly tight on on the edges, fits perfectly, covering most of ears and back of the neck slightly. Cyclist who received this gift is very pleased with it.

This skull cap would've been great, it was certainly warm and did everything expected of it, unfortunately apart from fit. I started experiencing 'headache' type symptoms after about 15 minutes or so, and after 25 minutes I had to stop and take it off due to the pain. The photo was taken at the time, and as you can see it has not been kind to my head; I felt like Ray Liotta in that infamous scene from 'Hannibal.' I have returned the cap for a refund, and will probably stick to my woolly beanie, which seemed to work just as well :-)

I bought this to wear under a winter hat to add a layer for a winter trip to northern Norway.It was very comfortable and did its job very well.It got nicknamed my "Tom Daly" hat by friends who were on the trip.Bloody cheek!I'm no diver, I'm no cyclist either if it comes to that.I'm just a balding fat bloke with a warm head :-)

I have a 61cm head and have issues with getting anything to fit my noggin at the best of time. I thought the stretch on this would be a little more elastic than it is but, alas, it does pinch my head a little. As an extra layer under a helmet it would probably be a decent item and, hopefully, it will relax out a little with wear, but my main use for the cap was as warmth on my bald head when I'm sleeping. Had a lovely little woollen number that my dog decided to chew up one day and have not been able to find a replacement for love nor money! I got a freebie over summer which is comfortable, stretchy but is too warm for anything other than the cold nights we're heading into so had hoped for something that would do the Autumn to early Spring stretch and leave my sleep more comfortable. The cap is surprisingly warm for it's thinness and would have done the trick if it was a more comfortable stretch.

No problems at all with the overall build quality and fit. Ideal for cycling - especially when fitted under my cycling helmet. Would certainly recommend and buy again.Well done!.
