Re:Zero always manages to get better. This volume was so satisfying… besides the ending and I just love everything about this series. I couldn’t stop reading. 10/10 Review: LN between season 1 and 2 of the anime.plus the IF story of Rem and Subaru - This is Light Novel number 9. It is the one I recommend to start with if you want to try reading the light novels and not worry about anything from season 1 of the anime. It does have the last episode of season one but it also has the first episode of season 2 with also a special feature for anyone that loves Rem like I do. There is a Fragment chapter or IF chapter that if Subaru and Rem actually ran away to karagi and got married. I DON'T want to spoil anything more bc it is so touching.

Re:Zero up-to-date light novel review
Here it is! The volume that is FINALLY up to date with the anime. The reason why I didn't review the other volumes because I want to save the best for last until the volume is up to date with thr anime. Anyways, let's get started. I wanna say is how well done are the characters are fleshed out a lot more in the novels. Their personality, their traits, every characters I like in the novels have a meaning and how they are critical in the plot. And every time they appear in the novels makes you like them a lot in their own ways. Now let's begin with the cut content. Oh boy where do I begin. No wonder the later half of the 3rd arc was rushed. Because they cut a lot of content in the anime and wished it would've stayed there, including critical plot points and Ricardo's screen time and wished they could've give him more. Yes I said it because he is by far one of the better characters in the series so far(sorry Rem/Emilia fans, but he is best boi/best girl). And the ending, oh man the ending is crazy and I'd rather not spoil it for the anime only audiences because this cliffhanger ending can lead up for a potential Season 2 of the anime. Now that's all of the positives, now let's get it down with the negatives. Because my only 3 criticisms is: 1, Character translations. And OMG WTF Yen On/Yen Press? Some of these translations is a huge train wreck. Tivey = TB, Patrasche = Patlash, Irlam/Arlam = Earlam, and they even accidentally called Ram "Rem" more than 3 times in this volume. Yen On/Yen Press. If you're reading this, PLEASE hire a new a legitimate translator that translate from Japanese to English, because this is ridiculous. You even got Goblin Slayer and Overlord under your belt and have high-quality translations, why not do it to this series? The 2nd criticisms in the English translations is that this translated volumes doesn't contain Side Stories. And that's ashame because I would love to read the characters' backstory. But sadly, this doesn't contain them. Hopefully(and I hope you're reading this Yen On and/or Yen Press), what they'll have to do is release the art book that contains the collection of Side Stories. If not, then I'll have to buy the Side Stories with the art book raw. And the 3rd criticisms is the release are super slow comparing to other light novel companies. Someone has to tell me why is YP/YO is THIS slow while other companies have a faster release schedule. Anyways, that is my 2-cents of my "up-to-date" review of Re:Zero. And just to forewarning, I am purposely gonna skip the 4th arc and head streight to the 5th simply because it's: 1, one of the longest arc in the series currently. And 2, I've already read the web novel, so there's no point in spending extra money on a very long arc. So yeah, see you in 2021.

Extremely slow translation. Finally caught to the anime
The story catches up to the anime at last. No quips about the story, setting and characters. The story is excellent. However, as the other reviewer perfectly covered. The naming discrepancies are annoying as well as very slow translation. If it was any other series, id have lost interest in the story. Please fix your translation speed and hire bigger better teams.

Bought this volume to read "Sukidayo Emilia scene" and I am really glad. The scene was perfect and even bought tears to my eyes. Emilia is best girl!

Story is good, like the previous light novels in the aeries. The book, at least on my device, is corrupted. Pages are shuffled about, with moving forwards and backwards acting inconsistently. Greatly dettacts from enjoyment of this book.
