I ordered 2 sets of this product. Each time the resin bottle was not completely full. To use this correctly you need to follow the directions. first prime pumps for air. Once a steady stream comes out you are good to go. I did as direction stated and product worked perfectly. My problem is that I ran out of resin. As you can see in the photo I still have a full bottle of resin and the second bottle of resin is mostly gone. paying nearly $40 bucks for this I would expect the ratios to be correct. I would want the suppliers to send me another bottle of resin because again I am going to run out before finishing my project. Another thing is they should also have refill bottles so you don't have to order pumps that you really don't need. Another problem was the tube cutting directions I don't have it in front of me but but directions stated for quart bottle to cut off approximately 2 1/8 inches but tube would not go into bottle without applinga great amount of force. I assumed this was to get tube to bend to shape of bottom of bottle so as not leaving any resin in the bottom. I eventually trimmed a bit more to get it in. half way through using the tube cracked. fortunately it was at the bottom and I trimmed a bit more off and was able to use the rest accordingly. none of these incidents should have happened. I only need a bit more of the resin to complete my task and would hope the provider would pony up another bottle of resin. I won't buy again for the reasons stated here. I did not want to mix different products together in my job so I purchased a second set. I followed all directions completely. The picture does not lie. they put less resin to get you to purchase more. that is not right. Do the right thing, buy something else. I will re-rate if suppler comes through but I am not expecting anything.

I usually use a different resin brand, but the shipping was too much for small amounts. After finding this kit on Amazon I decided to take a chance, since I'm a Prime member shipping is free. The kit arrived in a timely manner, well packaged. I don't need the pumps as I usually mix small amounts and measure out what I need. I'd like to be able to purchase just the resin and hardener without the pumps. In fact, I'd like to be able to buy small quantities of fast and slow hardeners to be able to mix different curing speeds as the project needs. So far I've used this for solidifying rotten wood, reinforcing putty mixed with glass fibers and fairing compounds, and laminating fiberglass tape in a small area. It worked fine. I haven't tried it for laminating a clear coat so can't speak to whether it cures clear with no yellowing. There was some amine blush, but that's to be expected with a fast hardener and summer heat and humidity.I'll buy this again.

I ordered the fast version based on reviews. After mixing the correct ratio. 1 pump each. I mixed for quite a while. Applied to surface and fiberglass mat. Viscosity-wise, it's thinner than I expected. Pancake syrup like. But it stayed liquid longer than I expected. Maybe 10-15 minutes with no indication of hardening. I started to worry that I made a mistake mixing/proportioning. But I turned my back on it for a couple of minutes and it set FAST. It got so warm during setting that the plastic container I used for mixing distorted with the heat. But it set up alright.Unless you need it un-set for hours, get the fast version.

Waste of money, It started to disintegrate and peeled off within' a week of applying it..

Great product. Very easy to use. The bottles are just the right size. They are shipped with pumps which make it easy to dispense. The price is dead on!
